I can only assume a lot of the 1* reviews are by competitors or people with an unrealistic expectation on these folders. For me, I think they are excellent. Anything over A4 dimensions won't fly, but in that case why in blazes did you buy it? I have years of personal paperwork and two companies worth of receipts, etc to store and up til now I just periodically lash them in plastic bags and eventually put them in chaotic crates of detritus. A house move necessitated a tidy and I plumbed for these among the selection of box files as the ones I felt most suited my needs. That box file shown is stuffed with paperwork dating back to 2009 and there's still space for more. Even partially filled, with the lid closed it condenses to around 50% of its width. Really good, I have two unopened for the business paperwork and I'll be getting more.

This replacement for our old paper archive does the job. We like the fact that the folder expands at the bottom, not just the top. BUTa) the archive would have been much better if it had been just a few millimetres wider (because we use plastic A4 folders to keep related papers together, and the folders are just a little bigger than A4. They fit, but it's tight)b) the colours on the sections are a nuisance - our folders are coloured, and the colours of the archive hinder our "colour recognition" of the foldersc) the colours on the name tag holders are a nuisance - they are too strong, and make it difficult to read the name on the tag.d) the elastic holding the archive shut is too short once you have a reasonable quantity of papers inside - and of course that's when you *need* the elastic to keep it shute) I'm not convinced that the plastic will survive use as well as the old paper version. I *fear* that the joints may open - but I can't right now say whether my worry is founded or not.Like I said, it does the job, but only just.I should add that the package took over 6 weeks to arrive (from China to Norway). Don't believe the estimated time of delivery!

Great for storing paper work etc. Good amount of space for different things

I bought this to organise my files, it did the job but for me it was too floppy and Unsturdy for me, so not for me.

I have my doubts as to whether it will stand up to a lot use use, the actual folders do not seem very strong.

Its very difficult to see the labels from the diffident colours, would be best to keep clear i think .
