Santa's Stuck

I read this to my kindergarteners this week and they thought it was hilarious. The illustrations are fantastic and the storyline kept my kids engaged from beginning to end. I was with every penny.

Perfect book for Christmas evenings.

This is the best kids book to read out loud in the weeks before Christmas, and we still read it on Christmas Eve, even though the kids are all teenagers and young adults now. This year, we sent it to our German exchange student's family whose six year old is starting to learn English. So much fun!

This is our favorite new Christmas book. We buy several new Christmas books each year and this was the winner for our family this December. The book is about Santa eating too many snacks and getting caught in the chimney. The dog, cat and kittens try to dislodge Santa to no avail. Then along comes the house mouse and he uses the toy bulldozer under the Christmas tree to pop Santa out of the chimney. My three year laughed out loud each time we read it!! The story line is cute with fun language and the pictures are a great addition to the comic relief in this fun short story. I would recommend this book. Happy Reading!! :)

I bought this as a week long unit to do with my first graders right before break. This book has tons of lessons and the topic made it super fun for the pre-break wigglers. There are awesome pre-made units on TPT with craftivities, rhyming work, adjective song and practice, morning work, word study, writing prompts...I LOVED all the possibilities of this book and will use it every year!

This is a super cute Christmas story. I actually discovered it while looking on Pintrest for some Christmas ideas for my kindergarten class. There was a who unit that a teacher wrote around this book. It intrigued me to look up this book for my class. It is so cute and leads to a lot of good writing activities for my students. I can't wait to use it in my classroom.
