Sturdy, beautiful, versatile
I have always wanted a rain barrel but never needed one until now. So I spent a lot of time trying to find one that met all of my needs but would also be a lovely addition to my back porch decor. Perfect color for me. Very sturdy. Size and shape works great for the area where this item must be placed to catch the downspout water that was washing away my hillside mulch. When it arrived the two brass spigots were missing but I called amazon who contacted the seller and within a few days the two spigots arrived in the mail. They were easy to install. I love the ease of attaching a hose to the bottom spigot and then to be able to fill a watering can from the top spigot. As soon as it arrived I filled the planter part with dirt and now my Genovese basil is growing on top. Lovely! I really appreciate the ease of dealing with this seller. They were helpful, kind and speedy in responding to my missing parts.

Petty
It bows out when filled with water, so I'm worried the faucets will start to leak or pop out. Also, you cannot plant anything up top if it sits out where rain can get to it. It flooded and killed all of my flowers. But it's pretty, and I would purchases again if these flaws were fixed.

attractive
I had just a little trouble getting all the parts out of the rain barrel, but otherwise it was easy. I have a new house and was having gutters installed. I wanted to add a couple of rain barrels and the gutter installer told me that if I bought them that they would install them when they put up the gutters. It hasn't rained yet so I don't know how they will perform when they fill up with water, but they look really nice. The gutter installers as well as several other trades people who were doing some finish work on my house have asked me where they can get them. So if they work half as well as they look I am going to be very happy with them.

Works (with some adjustments)
If all comes together, it is a viable option for collecting rain water.I wouldn't have been able to install these without help from the crew who installed my gutters at the same time -- they leveled the rain barrels, cut the chutes to size, and added the chute extensions to fit right over the filter mesh.some debris still gets into the barrels, the water is definitely not 'drinkable' but plants love it -- water purity reading is comparable to bottled water!👍other down side is that getting the water out is another 'adjustment' step - i had to purchase a water pump to siphon the water out by removing the filter at top and lowering a hose into the barrel, then using the pump to get the water out -- otherwise the flow is slow through the built-in faucets, and if water gets below the faucet level, there is no flow at all.all that said, after the adjustments, i do now have pure rain water for the plants which is worth the hasslealso one of the barrels had a leak along one of the plastic seams and lost about half the water overnight after the rain -- so not 'perfect' by any means, but not terrible either.

VERY THIN plastic
ANY amount of water, and the sides bow out. Sliding it at all along any surface will cause a crack in the plastic. The holes in the mesh screen between the downspout and barrel are too tiny -- they make the water overflow the top rather than "just" be contained inside the barrel. But... PRETTY!

Great purchase!
This is ingenious idea. I'm soo glad I bought it. So front porch has lip that's covers the walkway in front of the house. I reached out to a gutter company to put up gutters and due the dip in the lip there was no way I could set up a without it sticking and water would still pile up on the new travertine floor that recent installed which would cause mildew over time. The gutter guy told me about this water barrel so I decided to give it a try and boy was this a great idea!! I absolutely love it its soo cute a great solution I highly recommend.

Works great but bulges out on sides if full
Works great and we love having the flowers up top. However you must check it every time it rains as the sides bulge out when even half full….

It leaks
I contacted the seller who was meant to send us a return slip so I could return the water butt, they never sent it, when I enquired I had run out of the time allowed to return it, I think they knew this so that’s why they took there time, it looks nice but that’s where it ends,
