Having had multiple upper and lower GI surgeries I find that simethicone relieves discomfort due to gas and the chewable tablets work promptly. It seems there are two 80mg types on the market- the ones in the white bottle vs the blue bottle. They're both mint-flavored but they're different- very different to me. It took awhile to figure this out, but it seems the white bottle is peppermint and the blue is more a buttery/wintergreen mint flavor (my perception) and although peppermint is commonly known to help stomach distress, it causes more problems for me. I always look for the "blue bottle" and that's only variety I'll use. I hope the manufacturers stick to that color scheme!

I believe this works better for me that tablets.

The best product for gas relief, there are different ones out there like Dr. Choice and it has Sodium Bicaronate which is Milk Of Mag and it causes raised dime size hives, so be extra careful and look at all of the Inactive Ingredients. This bottle of Simethicone is the BEST!!!!
