Uniquely delicious plum flavored candy from Japan. Corny name (lost in translation?) and expensive, but worth it!

These have always been some of my favorite Japaneses candy. So I was happy to find them at such a decent price in bulk here. Shipping was nice and quick as well. Very happy.

I first had this candy at a hibachi restaurant. I immediately loved this candy. This mildly sweet candy is perfect any time in the day, especially after dinner. Of course, the price is much more reasonable here versus other sellers.

You will love these candies, they taste so yummmy. They are so expensive at the oriental market, very reasonable price at Amazon.

I love it! I ordered a 12 pack, which maybe didn't seem like a lot at first, but the package arrived at 4.8 pounds and there is a LOT of candy!The cute packaging is a definite plus. The pastel colors and the different flower for each individually wrapped candy is adorable. Don't be fooled by the photos of the candy itself. It's very large! It's as large as a quarter, so the flavour doesn't fade quickly at all.Lots of websites have claimed the taste is an 'apricot' or a 'condensed milk and plum' flavour. I'd have to disagree with that. These taste very similiar to peach ring candy. They have a very peachy flavour with a somewhat flowery scent.Every adult friend I've given them to have told me they taste like Peach Schnapps. (-:If you order a lot of it, this candy will last a very long time. It makes a cute gift and a fun conversational piece (if you can make them last!) I'd recommend it to anybody.

my grandmother introduced me to this candy. she claims to have a constant stash in her purse because she hates the dry feeling in her mouth. she's so picky about everything and for whatever the reason she loves this candy! and it IS good! it's light and fruity. i don't get tired or get sick from the sweetness like i do from other candies. this hard candy has a light "flowery" scent and so unique in flavor that once you try it, you'll want to share... or not!

I was first introduced to this candy though another website. I, myself being facinated with Japanese food and culture thought it would be fun to see what this candy was like. I couldnt believe how wonderful it was when I recieved it. It is a very sweet candy, not overpowering, but also quite delicate. The flowers pictured on the wrappers add to the candy's attractivenesss. The candy itself is also shaped and scented to please both smell and sight along with its taste.
