Christmas in a cup
My husband and I had a drink at a very expensive restaurant, and both of us fell in love with it. We’ve been trying to re-create the recipe and this was the kicker. It literally taste like Christmas in a cup when blended with rum, and a few other specific ingredients. It’s so good.

Tasty Treat
This is marketed for tiki drinks but I’m not necessarily a tiki fan but wow this makes a mean passion fruit margarita. So easy and so delicious. I’m glad I tried it. I have a full bar set up at home and this is an addition that I will keep purchasing.Pros:DeliciousSuper mixableFun flavorCons:Not super cheap (but worth it!)

There really is no substitute
This company makes an orgeat syrup that would make Trader Vic stock it in his bar. Expensive but you are paying for the taste, crucial to a mai tai and many other tiki drinks.

Great taste
We have purchased the BG Reynolds Falernum more times that I can remember. If you make Tiki style cocktails, the is a must have for your home bar.

So good!
I bought this because it just seemed so strange, but it has a great flavor! You want to use lemon or lime to counter the sweetness but it makes a delicious cocktail!

Best commercial falernum I've tried so far.
I make homemade falernum for cocktails, but the process takes a bit of time. Sometimes, you just want something ready to go, especially if you don't have lime zest/almonds/ginger in your pantry at all times. This falernum smelled nice, when opening up the bottle. I tried some by itself and it had a nice spice laden taste to it, similar to a cinnamon syrup, only this tasted of cloves and citrus. I tried the falernum in one of my favorite tiki drinks, the Puka Punch and it worked well, though that cocktail has a bunch of other ingredients. My next cocktail, was probably a better assessment of the syrup - I made a drink with 1.5 oz Jamaican rum, .75 oz fresh lime, and .75 oz falernum. Oh man, this made for a great drink! The only negative, I can think of, is that traditional falernum has a bit of alcohol in it, as a preservative. This doesn't, though you could easily add a splash of vodka to preserve it longer in your fridge. When I'm not making falernum by hand, this will be my go to choice.
