Washing Machine Hose (PBLSPWE601212)

I haven't changed the rubber hoses on our washer since we purchased it about 10 years ago and figured it was about time. After reviewing and comparing many hoses it looked like this one was one of the best. I definitely made a good choice.When you open the package and look/feel where the hose meets the connector you can appreciate the quality. These are many times better than your plain rubber hoses. The angled connector for the back of the washer means you don't have to bend it, just point in the direction you want the hose to go. There's not much more to say - you connect it, it works. I suspect it will last longer than the rubber ones it replaced.Lastly, purchase the hoses from Ace. Though it would appear the price is a few cents higher if you add the shipping cost, that's only if you're buying just one. For the second one, the additional shipping is only about 70 cents more - not double the shipping amount shown. Since most people will be buying two at a time, the total cost from Ace is a few dollars less expensive than the other merchants.

The only braided hose that had an integral 90-degree fitting I could find at my local bog box retailers was the Watts brand with the Floodsafe feature I did NOT want. I did not want to restrict the flow of water to my washing machine. This hose on Amazon had the 90-degree fitting and was braided. Price was OK but not the greatest. I went for it and it is working great. The quality seems good. No flaws.

When you order this product, according to previous reviews and now mine, you will not receive the Anderson Barrows (WATTS) product but get some no name incredibly flimsly junk that actually states-made in China on some blue label, that does not identify manufacturer.That is what just came out of our box today. Uggh!!What arrived today is nothing like described or photographed. It may have had a 3/4" & 3/4" fitting at each end but the hose diameter is clearly not. Unlike the image, this product arrived with a sharp 90 degree angle which restricts flow, not the gradual 90 degree angle as shown product photo. That is a deal breaker for me as well.The braiding material is incredibly flimsy, hard to believe this would last very long. I will not risk my house flooding on the almost certain failure of this junk.We ordered from PANDORA'S OEM APPLIANCE PARTS, so add that to the list of sellers to avoid like the plague. No shock here that these items are going right back for return.Amazon, pay attention to these unscrupulous sellers and get rid of them. For now, I'll head off to the local hardware store to actually see what I am purchasing and not take another chance on a switch and bait nonsense like this. Utter waste of time.

Ordered it a month early for my hunting cabin in Tn and when I got there to hook it up the 90 degree neck had a crack and amazon wouldnt return it for a refund because of the time since I had ordered it. Brand new out of the bag to the machine and water everywhere, and amazon was worried about 30 days...... Sad so I order elsewhere.

These do not say Anderson Barrows anywhere on the package. I got ACE brand manufactured in China. I priced them on the ACE Web Site and these on Amazon are less. I kept them because I needed them right away, so I could use my washing machine again!

This is one long and lean washing machine hose. Wrapped in stainless cabling that looks like it would be used on a vehicle from Mad Max. It arrived very quickly in packaging that was was more than adequate for protection. Elephants could have trampled this box and it would have survived shipping. Both ends are standard garden hose fittings and they both had their washers. Screw it on, open the valve and watch it flow. Best price anywhere, best quality you could wish for. The best part is that if you order totals over $25 you get free super saver shipping and you don't have to go anywhere!

These appear to be good hoses. The woven metal sheath appears to be bright stainless steel. The 90-degree connector at one end is very desirable, and probably mandatory for many washing machine installations.The hoses are shipped tightly wound, so they have a curl when unpacked. As a result, plan to hang them up for a few days to relieve the curl before installing them.

Based on earlier reviews some got a poor quality item. I checked the most recent reviews and people gave 5 stars so I ordered a few (an extra one for the steam dryer). They all had Ace tags with # 4096970, and they all had the Watts logo stamped on one of the ends. All appeared to be constructed well. One of them came in a sealed Ace packaging. On this one, it had a thick brass end with knurling in the center (better quality than the picture), with the other "L" end being silver. The other two came in a sealed white plastic bag. They looked exactly like what's pictured except the ends were silver, and instead of having the 3 white elastic bands it came with 3 white twisty ties. Happy with the quality but don't know how well it will perform (just installed it yesterday), but I'm sure it will outlast the hoses that came with the washer and dryer.
