Solves so many problems!!
I have been looking for YEARS for a great hay feeder and I have come up short. I have tried big box retail options all the way to the DIY options and nothing has been great...up until now!!This hay feeder solves SO many frustrating problems. For one, no more getting hay all over the floor trying to transport it into your piggie cage! I take the hay bag over to the box and fill it up and take it to the cage, no problem. This sounds so simple but there is NOTHING else out there that works!!For second, it feeds a good amount of hay to the piggies. I pull some out so there is hay sticking out of the holes, makes it super easy for the piglets.Another great solve is that I needed something to keep most the hay off the ground. Solves so many issues like gnats or dirty wet hay spots, etc.Lastly this hat feeder is so stylish!! I have other purple themed items from piggy bedspreads and this hay feeder is SO GREAT looking. My piggies love it and so do I!!!

Best hay feeder I have found! (and I have tried too many to mention over the years!)
I have been in search of a high quality hay feeder that won't spill hay all over the cage and this is it! It is large and spacious enough to hold plenty of hay for a day for 3 or more guinea pigs. The fabric is sturdy and and it is very well made. Easy to load with hay from the top and the color (black) perfectly matched my existing fleece and chloroplast colors in my boys C&C cage! I cannot tell you how many hay feeders I have purchased over the years for my guinea pigs... this is head and shoulders above the rest! Also the vendor was so nice and helpful and shipping was fast. I am very happy with this purchase. I love that this vendor is dedicated to guinea pigs and products to make their daily care easier not to mention promoting the best environment for them.

Flawed Design But Great Build Quality
I feel a little bad about this review, because this is a well constructed product made with good materials. The problem is that the holes for the hay feeder are too small. Even if there are two pounds of hay completely filling the feeder, after about an hour, my three guinea pigs will have eaten the small amount hay that is sticking out of the holes and will be unable to reach any more of the hay. This is a huge problem because they need access to hay all day long and they cannot get to a majority of it with me physically pushing the hay out of the holes every couple hours. This product is well built, but the design is completely flawed with the small holes. 100% avoid this unless they upgrade it.

piggies can't pig out
I almost feel guilty writing this because I can tell it's a sturdy and well made item, however it just doesn't work for my pigs. Maybe it's because my little fatties are voracious when they eat and a little on the simple side, but at the end of the day there would be tons of hay they couldn't reach. Basically they would eat until their little heads couldn't reach inside of the hay bag. I'd rather my little piglets have full disposal of the hay not just for eating but for playing with also. Just didn't work for my little dumdums :)

My pigs love this!
I bought this for my 3 boy guinea pigs. They all love it! It helps keep they hay dust to minimum, it's super easy to fill, keeps the "kitchen" area cleaner (than a manger style hay rack) and the small bag is big enough for my 3 pigs' hay consumption. It is constructed very well so I doubt I will need a new one any time soon but if I should I am buying this exact one again!

The perfect hay bag!
After looking for a solution for the mess that pet store hay dispensers were leaving me with, I came across this product. I have been using this product for several months and I really love it. It is made very well and I love the variety of color options and sizes. It keeps the cage much cleaner and most importantly it keeps hay from getting wasted and falling on the floor behind my dresser. The only thing I would change about this product would be the size of the holes where my guinea pigs eat hay. After they reach a certain point they can’t get their faces any deeper into the bag to continue eating so I have to push the hay down every couple of hours so they can still reach it. Otherwise this product works really well for me and I would recommend it to small pet owners.

Perfect hay manager! Safe, stylish, and paid for itself by reducing hay waste!
First and foremost, I really want to commend the seller for their thoughtful design. The grommet openings are 1.25", which is so important because there are other hay bags with grommets out there that look very similar, but have 2" grommets that guinea pigs have been known to get their head stuck in. :( These grommets are small enough so that they're perfectly safe for adult pigs, but still allow plenty of room grazing.I've been using this hay manager for a few months now and it's one of those purchases that I'm glad I made every time I see it. With 5 guinea pigs, we were going through hay like nobody's business, and it seemed like 80% of it just ended up in their litter tray. This hay manager has reduced that waste significantly. Guinea pigs have a natural inclination to create a bed of hay where they eat, so you'll never be completely free of waste, but I can safely say that I'm saving a ton of money on hay with this product, it paid for itself in no time. Some other reviews mention that their pigs have a hard time getting hay out of the holes. I've found that the best way to use this is to not over-stuff it with hay, because then the hay at the top won't be pulled down as the pigs eat. It's also important to empty the bag before you refill it, because all of the hay dust and small bits tend to collect at the bottom, which means there's less room for the actual hay at the bottom for them to pull out.The one and only thing I would change would be to add one or two fasteners in the middle to keep it closed. One of my more mischievous piggies has found a way to parkour herself into the bag, so now I keep it closed with a couple of binder clips. :) Maybe velcro or some kind of hook button? Not sure if normal snaps would hold with a bag full of hay.The seller also included a cute and incredibly well-made fleece drip pad for free, which was such a nice surprise and something I never knew I needed until I had it! I use it under their water bottles, so now that corner of their cage always stays dry!
