I bought this a few years ago just in case. Never had to use it until this morning when our toddler was choking. It worked. It saved his life. *Highly* recommend.

Never needed to use it but it is well worth the peace of mind to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

I bought several of these for our local police department for their patrol cars. As a retired nurse I felt not everyone can do the Heimlich and this is a good option. But unfortunately I found out that in the state of Pennsylvania per EMS they as first responders are not allowed to use them per a state guideline. But as citizens you can use them so, I will give them as Xmas presents to family members. They come with instructions and a mask for a child and one for an adult. You cannot reuse a mask. But, it will be replaced for free according the company if used to save someone. And they keep a wall of pictures of all those that have been saved and want to know of anyone saved with the Lifevac.

I bought two Life-Vacs to include in my first aid kits at home and in my truck. Having been an industrial microbiologist, I didn't care that neither came with cases. The clear zip-lock bag that each came in kept each clean and easily identifiable. My little Mom is a petite woman. As soon as the devises came in, I ran drills with the entire family [from ages 8 through 75] to make sure everyone knew how to properly fit and operate the devices. Everyone was able to achieve proper fit and develop adequate suction on their first attempts. On May 7th 2023, it all paid off. My 77 year old, bed ridden Mom was eating dinner and began to choke - her eyes began to roll up in a manner of seconds. I grabbed the Life-Vac [with regular size interface attached], gently fitted it against her little petite face as per product instructions, pushed down, pulled up - out popped the obstructing food. In a few seconds she was fine. This product saved her life. To the inventor(s), developer(s), manufacturer(s) and anyone else involved in bringing this product into being, my family and I thank you - we still have my Mom because of all of you.

I got this after seeing one be used on someone to save their life. I have a brother who is disabled and prone to asperation, and the accident that left his disabled damaged the bone structure in his face. He was trached for a while, and that scar tissue and damage affects his windpipe and breathing. I have fitted this to his face since receiving it, and it is able to form a tight seal, which can be difficult to achieve manually. I hope I never have to use my LifeVac, but it's comforting knowing it's there if I need it. I am confident that it will save a life. I got home kits and car kits for my parents and myself, and a home kit for my brother's room at his care home. The peace of mind is well worth the price. I read a few horror stories of people who bought knock offs that didn't work, so be careful in that regard.
