You'll Laugh, You will Cry, Then Smile at the Perfection
Olivia has decided to go to her Mom's hometown to explore her childhood. Her mother never talked about her childhood, but left a strange last request: that 1/2 of her ashes be spread out on a gravesite listed as 32b in her hometown, and the other half to be spread out on the lake. Olivia took her 14 year old niece, Logan, with her. Logan's mother, Olivia's sister, Georgie, would meet them there later. Olivia needed a respite from her life. She needed some space from her live-in fiancé and from a job she hated. Olivia went to get to know who her mother was as a child, and ended up knowing her mom better, but also herself. Olivia's journey is fun, full of love, mystery and some tragedies, too, but there is always lots of love and support from many interesting side characters. Some books make you want to rush through each page to find out what happens at the end. This book makes you want to savor each word, each page. You never want it to end. You want to spend time with each and every character, you want to visit each place and linger. This writer grabs your heart from the first page, and takes you on a journey of love in all its forms. To me, this book is perfect. The plot line moves you evenly along, making you love every moment. So hope this wonderful new author has another book for us soon.

Wow, just wow!
What an awesome book. I could not put it down. The twists and turns, never knowing what they would find next, kept me reading late into the night. I recommend this book highly & will be looking for more by this author.

Hooked In
I was hooked on the book after the first few pages. The bond these things two twins and Jane had was amazing. It was difficult to put this book down for the night.Sheila Embrick

Unique Story Line for a Romance Novel
I really enjoyed this book. All of the characters were well-written and likable, and there was a lot of love in the family relationships. The story line is especially intriguing because it is so different from most. The main character, Olivia, made mistakes, but she was able to rise above them. My only disappointment is that so many authors feel the need to have the characters living together before marriage. I know this is considered an old-fashioned opinion, but in this case, especially, it was bothersome to see Olivia living with one guy and falling in love with another. Even having said that, this author is good, and I look forward to reading more of her works in the future.

Good Book
This book was recommended to me by a blogger as her choice of book of the year. Although I disagree with the fact that this book was the best of the year, it was a good book that really picked up towards the middle. It was a slow start but towards the middle, I felt like the suspense had started to build and I found myself caring more about the characters. I think I had a hard time connecting to the main character at the beginning because I just couldn't get a handle on who she really was.

Promising new author
I wanted to give this book four stars as it was very well-written but the neurotic heroine got on my nerves a bit. It seemed like she was always crying, very indecisive and far too immature for a 32 year old woman who'd been working for 10 years in the construction industry. Been there, done that. Even though she worked in the office, she must've been around men - a lot! Construction is a multi-faceted, interesting but tough industry and is not for emotional light-weights of any gender. The overall plot premise was very interesting and I thought this was an excellent first novel. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Very juvenile writing. No character development, and I knew exactly what was going to happen after reading about a quarter of the way through the book... even though there were a few surprises. Don't bother.
