Exactly what I was looking for.

This is a clear well presented introduction to playing the baroque guitar. The text is very informative with an academic leaning. Half the book consists of a valuable collection of well chosen pieces for baroque guitar from a variety of composers set out in both tab and stave for different tunings of the instrument. The book is not, however, a method for baroque guitar with progressive lessons. It would best suit a student who already played some classical guitar.

Si tratta di un'ottima guida per chi intende dedicarsi alla chitarra barocca, ma non è un metodo: mancano infatti gli esercizi, che sarebbero più utili della vasta antologia di brani con diverse accordature riprodotti nella seconda parte del volume.
