Excellent. Every Christian who wants to walk in victory needs to read this. To understand the demonic spiritual world is to take dominion over it which is what Jesus has given us, that we may be more than conquerors thru Christ Jesus our Lord. Highly recommend you allow your eyes to be opened

I am so thankful for the ministry of Lester Sumrall, and for him writing this book. Even now while Bro Lester is in Heaven he is imparting to the next generations....I am a missionary and my husband and I have had to deal with the supernatural a lot in our travels. I am so appreciative for good sound teaching on this subject as it has furthered answered some questions I had, as well as been very illuminating to the tactics and schemes of the enemy. Sobering too as many people are being led astray by the devices of the devil unaware. This is definitely a book every Christian should read and study, and not just those in ministry because of its importance to keeping us aware of spiritual forces that are at work in this world. Loved it! Going to use this practical teaching for the rest of my life, and God willing help others find freedom from oppression, obsession, or possession of the enemy through the power of the blood and precious name of Jesus Christ!!! This is an excellent book. I'm still puzzled why one reviewer gave it 1 start. If your looking for a research tool based on analysis, this is not that kind of book. This book is based on total personal experience in an epic confrontation. If hearing the truth about demonic powers from a Christian rooted, "exorcism" leaves you squeamish, then you may feel uncomfortable. I first read the book back in the early 90's when I was in middle school. I couldn't put it down then and I keep a copy in my library now. (20 years later!) Furthermore, I'm still wonder where did the hypocrite piece come into play (previous review). I worked for LaSEA Broadcasting as a volunteer throughout my elementary and middle school years in HI. Mr. Surmall always operated with integrity and jumped at the opportunity to train people in Mass Communications. Every person that wants to learn the basics on how to operated in the power of God against demonic forces should read this book. He provides scripture as a point of reference, which makes this book perfect for biblical research.

As a Christian, the book is an excellent read for understanding deliverance beyond just regular talk but complete teaching grounded by the word of God.
