Light Sensor & Auto Euro Head Light Switch Retrofit Kit for VW Volkswagon Golf MK6

let's talk about the things i like about this particular switch first: 1. shipping is a month faster than indicated, and it showed up unexpectedly as i was expecting it to come in mid june, but it showed up just 2 weeks after i ordered it, and 2. the installation is easy, simple plug and play, no rocket science involved and the auto function works very well.i'd give it a 5 star if i didn't come across the following problems: 1. there's no light sensitivity adjustment while the product description says there is, which is a bummer for me because i'd really want to adjust the sensitivity so that my xeons don't come on when im under the bridge or freeway overpass, and 2. the coming home and leaving home functions don't work. I've vagcom my 2013 mk6 gti for coming home and leaving home to work, and i was expecting both functions to work with this switch and sensor, but they don't.also, when in "auto" mode, you can't turn on the foglights, you have to set it at the position between auto and parking light to turn on the headlights with fog lights. that is ok with me i guess, it just doesn't look as good.i'd totally give it a 5 for the fast shipping and easy installation, but the lack of light sensitivity adjustment and ch/ lh function toggle switches made me slightly unhappy with the switch and hence, a 3.

Don't know about it as I ordered it for a friend who never told me how it worked, so it's unfair for me to rate this product.

The installation is quick, the product works fine, BUT it slowly drains the battery. I measured the battery consuption with the car turn off and battery disconnected, it was about 1 Amp.

The switch works well, but the description of the light sensor doesn't meet like the picture and the description, you can buy the same for lower cost, look up for generic switch light sensor, it is 40 dollars cheapest than this product and is the same product

here's no light sensitivity adjustment while the product description says there is, also there is no \coming home and leaving home switch and sensor. which is a scam for me. I don't recommend this seller as the pictures and description is different than the product I received.

Item does not work it did not have the light sensitivity adjustment as described I tried installing ans the headlight switch would not turn lights on I put old switch in everything worked fine

This thing is great, what an easy and inexpensive way to add the auto light function to your VW. I highly recommend you consider purchasing the unit.
