Wolf-GartenLNM Multi-Change® Mini Hoe

Wolf sell this item and the similar looking Wolf Garten ILM3 Multi-Change Double Hoe, and although the pictures look similar they are worlds apart in design and strength.This one is slightly smaller all around and the metal is far thinner in all places (prongs, blade, shaft). The shaft is also a pressed steel design rather than solid design of the ILM3.The price reflects this is a cheaper design but I accidentally purchased this when getting a second set of our favourite Wolf small garden tools so we don't have to keep sharing. I think Wolf should make the naming far clearer as checking their full range of multi-tools, some tools have two versions as in this case but others just have the good quality one.

All Wolf-Garten tools that I bought and used over the last 15 years are of the highest quality. They might be a bit more expensive than the stuff you find in budget retail outlets. On the other hand you buy them only once and they won't break while you are using them.

This particular tool does not fit securely in the wolf garten handles ( I have 3 different type handles and a dozen tool ends) Because of this shaking about, it has broken the end of one of my handles.I may have been unlucky, normally all of these tools are very well manufactured.

Tool itself is good quality, as usual with WG stuff, easy to work with works well with both small and long handles. Delivery took just over 3 weeks, including what looks like a despatch/delivery mess up (polite expression!).

I bought this to clear leaves & debris for an overflow trench at my lake. With the long Wolf pole, it worked perfectly to get in awkward places & I managed to clear it. Wolf tools are great!

I had one similar to this, it broke after years of use, so I ordered this and I called my best friend among all my gardening tools. Easy to use and I use it for weeding, digging and raking between small plants.

Another useful piece of kit for the versatile WOLF garden system. Fantastic guarantee of 35 years so they say, certainly feels well made and I think it might give many years of good service.

This is the second one of these that I have purchased- remind me of a small pick axe-weeding easy and useful for getting out stubborn roots like eg briars.
