The ABC's of Making Teddy Bears

I have made lots of teddy bears and I wish I had found this book years ago when I first started making bears. It not only tells you how to do something but also shows you in detail. I have always wanted to use flex joints and now thanks to this book I now know how to do it. It is written by someone who knows what they are talking about and I am buying another book just in case I ever loose the one, I just bought. I can't praise this book enough and I would tell any one to buy it. Starting from a person who wants to learn to make their first teddy bear to someone like myself who has made quite a few bears. It will help me to make even better quality bears and improve on the techniques I use now, to purchase this book, it is well worth the price. I have been looking for a book like this since I first started making bears. Thank You

I really enjoyed this book. It has 14 bear patterns, along with information on joints, stuffing, materials and techniques. The patterns are really nice, ranging from very simple to somewhat complex. The lack of half a star comes from some of the instructions. It might just be me, but I didn't understand the instructions for two of the muzzles. A few more pictures could have helped in this one instance.Aside from that the book is very good and I highly recommend it!

Great How-to-make Teddy bear book. This has everything you need to know, want to know, and how to do it. It also includes pictures and patterns so you can see exactly what you plan to make and how it should look when you finish.

This a great book for all who enjoy making these projects for fun and pleasure. Instructions are clear and very easy to follow. This is great book to reference to. I think I will get me another one.

Very useful book in our pursuit of making and repairing teddy bears

This book covers a lot of teddy bear making techniques. The drawings and explanations illustrating the techniques are well done. There is also a colour photo gallery of the author's work -- followed by written instructions -- so that the reader may practice and learn more about teddy bear making.

A great basic guide to bear making!

家族に頼まれて４冊注文しました、日本で出版されている作り方の本より解りやすいですね、私自身はTeddy　Bearどころか・・・おそらく手縫いではゾウキンも縫えない人間ですが、家族に薦められてこの本の内容に従って生まれて初めて１個作ってみました。自分でも信じられないけれど、出来ちゃったのです、Bearが！･･･非常に出来の良い教科書であるようです。ただし、中級以上の製作経験者には必要ないでしょう、ＡＢＣ’ｓと言うタイトルそのものです。とりあえず、この本にあるBearを全種類作り終えれば初心者からステップアップ出来るのかも知れません。
