Hahnemuhle Fine Art Pearl, Fiber Based, Bright White Inkjet Paper, 285gsm, 8.5x11", 25 Sheets

I make prints from a simple Canon 1P4900, a hybrid text and photo type printer using this paper with mixed results, which may be due to the printer technology rather than the paper. This is a high quality paper stock with a low gloss sheen. When printing B&W, some prints are excellent, reproducing the deep blacks in the photograph. What I do not like is that some prints reproduce the blacks and greys as shades of purple. When I print in color, some prints are excellent, reproducing bright colors with plenty of light behind them, other prints which appear adequately lighted on the monitor reproduce in more somber tones that do not live up to the original image. I have tried several adjustments to my iPhoto app and my Canon without success. I conclude that this is a high quality paper, possibly a five star paper, but that you need more sophisticated systems to tune your photos and print to it's maximum capability. Possibly Photoshop and a professional grade photo printer will do the job.

Surprisingly heavy weight paper. Great texture and gives a great picture. Highly recommend using their printer settings for your printer.
