Can get your information in an older book
Stop! Don’t waste your money. Buy an older book, and you will get more there. The recipes are in grams only. There are very few essential oil, and natural color ideas. Poorly done, with about 6 pictures.

Excellent Book!
I absolutely love this book!. I've been making all natural soap for over a year and have bought many soap books and I absolutely love it. She gives all the knowledge, tips, techniques, and recipes needed for a beginner to novice soaper. All the pictures are so colorful, I just wish there would be a picture for each soap recipe on its recipe page. I can't wait to begin trying the soap recipes and new techniques.

Great book for new and experienced soapers
I have been making soap for about 20 years. I love how there are tips for each type (cold and hot process, liquid and melt and pour) of soap. I can't wait to make the liquid soap which I have not done before. The book includes step-by-step instructions, nice scent blend ideas and helpful pictures.

If you don’t make soap....you will after reading this.
I’ve been making soap awhile and I love a book that I actually learned new and easier ways to do things. The photos were very nice. Easy read.

Easy to read, understand and follow.
Great book for experienced or beginners. I was looking for recipes with natural colorants, vegan, and no palm for cold and hot processed soaps. Would have preferred pictures of soap closer to recipes but not a rule out for purchase of book.

A wealth of knowledge
Due to an unfortunately timed arm injury, I cannot soap at this time, so I’ve been soaping vicariously by slowly savoring this book. The recipes sound delicious and Amanda gives great tips in addition to providing safety information, recipes, resources and sharing her wealth of knowledge. My only disappointment in this book comes from the lack of photos. The ones provided are beautiful and inspiring so I’m left craving more of them. I can’t wait till my elbow is functioning properly again so I can give these a try!

Wonderful book, needs better shipping.
Good book with great advice and recipes. My only complaint is that it was shipped in thin bubble wrap mailer and book received has some damage.

GREAT soap making book.
The Complete Guide to Natural Soap Making: Create 65 All-Natural Cold-Process, Hot-Process, Liquid, Melt-and-Pour, and Hand-Milled Soaps is another great soap making book by Amanda Gail Aaron. Her directions are very clear and have easy steps you can follow. She also has pictures that go with the steps. The photographs are high quality.

Uses Alcohol for Natural soap??
I was really looking forward to reading this book and trying a few recipes - as soon as it arrived, but I was just really surprised that it used Alcohol for many of it recipes??And it's called The complete Guide to 'Natural' soap making? Was just a little put off by this, and immediately clicked to return the book for a refund! Also, would be nice to have many more photos of the finished soap products, as soaps can be very creative and full of colour, but was again surprised there are not very many photos at all?

Good
Book looks good. However I do not like that most ingredients for the soap contain Lye. Good selection of soaps in the book though.
