STAX Hybrid H12101 Flashing Police Car

Have two of these sets (one was a replacement) and I have to say I'm very disappointed. Bricks rarely light up or make a noise. Connections seem poor especially the further away from the power block. Have spent some time cleaning and checking all the connections but seems it's just poorly made. The set itself is ok. Final build looks good and the bricks feel like they are made out of decent plastic. However, the fit is at best 80% as good as lego. Some gaps and bricks not quite sitting correctly. Instructions are muddled and do need attention playing to. The people writing them appear to randomly choose which blocks to include in any one step.I wouldn't say not to buy but if you do so, think carefully.
