Great Product, Great Company
This is a great little radio! A radio rated at 75 watts, pushing 80+watts out of the box. Easy to program from chirp, or from the handheld mic. If you are going to program from a computer, make sure you purchase a cable. To brag on the company a bit...The first radio I received had some problems. It was picket fencing, and just not quite acting properly. I wrote them and with a few steps had another in two days. They also payed return shipping. I must say it was a great experience, even though the first did not work properly. Great product, great company. Thank you.Update: The radio is still going strong. I have not had any problems transmitting, or receiving. Very happy with this unit.

Great radios
Great radios for the price. I have 3 of them. One in my house. One in my work truck and one in my personal truck. I'm a storm spotter and ham radio operator. For the price not bad. I have had hit reapters 35 miles away with a mag mount quarter wave on my truck. The one in my truck is over a year old and still working like day one. Programs with chirp as a qyt radio. No issues. You must have a FCC liscense to transmit legally.

Great little radio
The radio works great. Mine doesn't quite do 75 watts. More like around 60 but that's still good. Anyone listening could not tell the difference. It would take another 100 watts to make a S-meter read 1 more dB. I have purchased 2 so far and love them. Just ordered another that will be here tomorrow. This way I can hook any of them up to my computer and program them all the same. Good, responsive customer service. Had trouble with one radio (which wasn't their fault) and had a replacement 2 days later and had 2 weeks to return the bad one. Happy with the product and the service.

Radio has a lot of problems so returned it
I so wanted to love this unit, power output and price sounded great, also its dual band so that was a big plus. BUT first off the radio is impossible to program without software and the right cable, (spent $28 extra for them and now i am stuck with them) once I got the cable and software it took me 2 min to program it, I used the antenna they recommended and turned it on, at first I just tried it with a small handheld 500 ft away, it was loud and clear, so off I went on a trip. with there antenna I could not transmit or receive more than 500 yards so I tried a 2 meter single band antenna tuned to 151.655 that we were using, now I could hear but still not transmit and over 500 ft it was soft and garbled. reset the radio and put the freq in by hand, it was the same, tried 3 more antenera that all work on other radios, still the same, the seller was total no use and in the end Amazon refunded my money, look for something else and don't waste your money and time, sorry

To hard to program for a new ham.

Seems like good value
Haven't had a chance to use this extensively, but I did try it out while plugged into a cigrette lighter instead of directly to the battery and it didn't immediately blow a fuse while listening and short transmission. Likewise, I didn't test actual transmission wattage but for the transmission that I did, the receiving end said I came through better than when I'm on my usual 25W mobile unit

Be careful with this radio.
I ordered this radio hoping to get the range from it. When I tuned my antenna to the radio I was getting an SWR of 1.2 but only getting 50 watts out on VHF and 45 out on UHF. I am returning the radio in hopes of getting a different brand that can actually get me a true 75/55 watt output.

difficult to program.
dislike the way or should I SAY NOT the way the manual explains or does not explain how to input properfrequencies and the offsets for each channel. This is a nightmare to say the least. !!!!!!PLEASE SUPPLY A VERY SIMPLE STEP BY STEP PROGRAMMING GUIDE ASS TOMHOW TO DO THIS!!!!
