I had used Amazon Prime Wardrobe (Also, try Prime Wardrobe if you haven’t yet!!) and tried on so many pairs before finding these. I went on and on how it felt like I was walking on clouds and joked about wanting to take extra steps in a day just to enjoy them.On my 3rd week/7th time wearing them, I noticed it felt like there was something rubbing a bit on the inside. I took my shoes off a few times that day because I thought I’d gotten sand or something in my shoe. Nothing was in the shoe to cause it but I noticed the padding top coat was stuck to my sock. By the end of the day I had blisters under my toes and I noticed when I took the shoes off there was a little white spot on the left side of the right shoe at the big toe area. (I feel I should add I do not work anywhere any chemicals would have gotten on the shoe; I am a bedside nurse at a location that does mainly physical therapy rehab.) The next day I worked I had blisters on top, between and on the bottom of all my toes but the big toes! That wonderful “cloud” padding of the shoe was stuck more to my sock and even came out in pieces when I took the shoes off. What’s more unusual is the right side of the right shoe now looked like it was bubbling up like it was melted. I could touch the spot and it was softer than the rest of the shoe.The next morning I put my $118 still “new” shoes on for work to find more white spots on the left shoe and a new bubbled area on the tiptoe of the right shoe. The spot from the day before had become white and each white area was soft to touch. I could actually wiggle my pinky toe and feel it move the shoe; the top toe one I could push in almost 1/4 of an inch. Are usually wear New Balance walking shoes for work. I thought I make a change and try this brand. I wear a 12 wide and I'm flat-footed this shoe fits me perfectly. These shoe have the ultimate cushion with a small wedge which support my flat feet. The inside top of the shoe is a soft valor material and the rest is suede. The outside of the shoe is a soft leather and the bottom looks to be slip resistance. I walk for seven hours a day so I will definitely put this shoe to the test. It does run a little small though. I normally wear a size 6 and had to purchase a 6.5. My foot does run a little wide so I did have to get the Wide version of this shoe which was fine. The shoe itself is the most comfortable shoe I have ever had. They feel like all day slippers. My only caveat for this shoe is that the leather is super soft so they wear out on the top very quickly. It makes for a ratty look over time which I don't like. I buy them for work and after having 2 pair I ended up switching to different brand because it was difficult to keep them looking nice. They didn't even need an adjustment period-- I could tolerate them immediately without blisters or soreness. They fit comfortably with and without socks. They do slip a little when I walk, but they don't cause blisters and aren't annoying. The only reason these didn't get 5/5 is they almost immediately got scuffed on the toes. Now that I've had them for 4 months of continual M-F wear they look pretty beaten. I bought these in an 8.5 slim and I am thrilled. The instep is very snug so you'd have to have very slender feet to be OK in the slim size. I've never had a shoe that felt too narrow in the instep, but these are close. That said, I know they will give a little over time and I can still wear these comfortably with a thin sock. The footbed is very supportive with good arch support and the sole is like walking on pillows. And did I mention that my toes are happy as can be. Her toe nails are sensitve and she has a bunyon so she needs shoes with plenty of room in the toes but that are also wide enough. Through the years we have bought her many pairs of shoes but she could not wear any of them for an extended period. It seemed if the shoe was wide enough then there was not enough toe room or if there was enough toe room then the shoe wasn't wide enough. My mother received these shoes put them on and was able to wear them the entire day without any discomfort. She said this is the first time she has been able to put on a pair of closed shoes and be able to wear them so long. The leather on these are soft and and the foot bed comfortable.
