Great Value
I currently own two of these lights and I am very happy with the performance/ results so far. I've been using these for a month. I'm using these 2 lights to cover a 2' x 4' reflective area. They cover this area perfectly with good penetration. The fans are fairly loud but not annoying. The LED's are causing the leafs to have a very deep green color that I haven't seen using CFL's, flourecents, MH, etc. Not better or worse just different. As far as growth rate it is hard to tell if the LED's are causing faster or slower growth. Probably about the same but would say the plants seem fuller with the LED's. Previous heat concerns are done away with. So far I am very happy with these and I believe they are worth a try.UPDATED. I've been using these lights for a few months now and I am a firm believer. The key is figuring out the proper height. Raise them higher approx. 2 to 3 feet if you want the plant to stretch a bit or 12 to 16 nches if you want the plant to get bushier. Also this light will cover 2 sq feet. Dont try to get more out of it or your plants will suffer. Right now I'm using a 4sq foot grow tent and I am using 2 of these with 2 blackstar 240 watt led's and my hot pepper plants are producing like crazy. Best yield I have ever had. I would be confident using 4 of these in a 4sq foot tent. buying 4 of these is pricey. But the savings in electricity replacement bulbs ventilation and etc I believe are worth it. Right now I have 2 small clip on fans approx 10 watts total for circulation in the tent. The temperature 2 inches below the lights are 78*. At the top of the canopy approx 2 feet from light 76* temperature outside the tent 75*. Try that with any other light source.

No blooms and loud
If there were not much better substitutes, I would probably believe this was an OK product. But after I bought this, I bought a few fixtures with T5 grow lights. For the same amount of money, I get triple the light area coverage, no sound, very little heat and BLOOMS, BLOOMS, BLOOMS. On this UFO Bloom Boss my cactus have survived (after I moved from Arizona to Colorado), but they have never bloomed (although the did when I had them outside in Arizona).

Not enough light
I ordered this to replace my 250 watt HPS grow light primarily to save on electricity. While it's a good product and seems well made, it doesn't live up to its promises. It does not illuminate a 9-square foot area, more like 4 square feet, and while my plants have grown under it, they are not doing as well as before. After a 3 week trial, I decided to return it and go back to the HPS light. Too bad. I think it might be effective for vegetative growth but less so for flowering.

Pretty good for the price.
This was the first LED grow light I bought after using only CFL for growing some greens (basil, spinach, lettuce). I wanted to try hydroponic peppers and cucumbers, but can't do HPS or MH due to heat output and power requirements. This little light does OK. It seems to have the correct targeted blue and red spectrums along with some white. It grows green leafy stuff well, although the red spectrum might be wasted, but it will actually flower cucumbers, peppers and cherry tomatoes. It might be able to cover a 3'x3' area for low-light sprouts or maybe lettuce, but it really is more like a 2'x2' area for a flowering plant. I grew two pepper plants under one of these in a 2'x3' area with two low-power CFL on either side for a bit more overall light and it worked very well. I got tons of cayenne and Serrano peppers. I'm growing cucumbers now and the cucs are about 3" after 5 weeks since planting the seed.Even at 90 watts I don't think it saves me any money over just buying what I grow, but it is awfully nice to just go over and pick a handful of peppers when making a Thai curry in the middle of winter. For faster and better yields you might need two of these for 1 or 2 plants, if not some HPS.I've had mine over a year and it is still going strong. The only caveat is that the fan is a bit noisy. But it is more of a whooshing background noise than a bothersome bassy vibration like a bathroom fan.If you haven't tried LED and aren't ready to invest big bucks in the high-powered big-name lights, this isn't a bad place to start.

Definitely one of the best LEDs out there
After doing tons of research and having owned a few LEDs prior to this one I wasn't really sure what to expect, but these things are awesome. Any other LED has an Watt Usage/Output ratio typically 1:2, so say the light is a 400W but the REAL usage is 200W. However this light is 1:3, although only putting out 250W, they save the most electricity. Other than that I had plants in flower under a 300W MarsHydro LED, once I got these I switched them over and the buds are looking much better than before. The hangers with it are really good quality and they even throw in a ratchet hanger too. All around great light, bought 3 the first time around and just bought a 4th, and it definitely won't be my last.
