Corso Como Women's Femme Ballet Flat

I was really looking forward to getting these because I had read in the reviews how attractive they are. I have long legs so I was hoping the wrap around the ankle would look really attractive with skirts and I wanted something comfortable that would still look pretty. I'll just sort of run down what is good/bad about these shoes for me:Pros:--I have gotten several compliments from other people about the shoes, mostly because of their unusual appearance--They are, in fact, very comfortable, that's why I'm still wearing them and they're getting three stars--I do think they are worth about what I paid for them.Cons:--I got the same size I get in every shoe (9.5) and they are too big. As a result my toes stick out from the tops of them a little bit which is not pretty! They are still wearable so I'm guessing they are about a half size too big for me.--The straps are really ugly. I only wear them with pants because of that. The title of the shoe says they are "black silk" but there is, in fact, nothing silky about them. They are made of leather and the straps you see in the picture are great big ugly pieces of elastic band. That's it--there's nothing covering them, they're just your good ole extra wide elastic that you would put in an elastic waistband pair of pants! I'm assuming that doesn't bother most of the wearers who gave this product five stars, but it does bother me. It's really ugly, particularly up close.I would still recommend them if you're going to wear them with pants or jeans, but if you're looking for something flattering to wear with dresses and skirts, thumbs down.

These are really cute, pretty well-made, and comfortable (no arch whatsoever, but a bit of padding and a nicely flexible sole). But hooooooly geez they run BIG! My prior experience with Corso Como was that they run a little small - I'm a 7 or sometimes 7.5 in sandals and flats, and the two pair of size 7s I tried in this brand were definitely too small. So I ordered these in a 7.5, and GOOD GRIEF they're like CLOWN SHOES. I mean, *easily* three quarters of an inch of space in the toes. Have returned and reordered a 7, which hopefully I'll be able to walk in without tripping and/or feeling like I should also have on a big red rubber nose and curly orange wig.

I never heard about this brand before, so was not sure of buying, but I loved them from the first sight! They are comfortable as nothing else, I can use them the whole day everyday and my legs would feel just perfectly ok in the end of the day, they look super nice, the color is really golden, the leather is soft and likely to touch and the straps go just on the right place, they don't bother, don't leave marks and keeps the shoes perfectly on their place. Also, for me is really a difficulty to find good flats, as I have one foot bigger than other and usually feel uncomfortable in flats, but these ones are golden in every way, so if I could - I'd put 10 stars!

I wore these shoes on my wedding day...I wanted something secure and comfortable for dancing, and flat since my hubby only has a couple inches on me. They did the trick, but the elastic straps were too loose and absolutely filthy by the end of the night, not sure why. They just seem like magnets for dirt but the rest of the shoe held up fine. I wasn't able to get them clean after - considering just cutting out the strap and maybe attempting to replace it?

These shoes are so adorable. And I want to LOVE THEM! Mostly they're very comfortable on the footbed. But where the elastic meets the back of the shoe it's rubbed a blister on my ankle. I want to figure something out because otherwise they're comfy and cute. If not I won't be able to wear them.

I totally agree with Michelle, we need to promise each other that we will keep these shoes a secret. I have been trying on heals for a wedding that I will be in and my feet have been miserable. I know I am pushing my luck with these but they are so adorable & comfortable and finished so nicely. I think they will be perfect. Im going to order the ballet pink just in case I need a backup pair. Merci!

These shoes are Very comfortable. They lookand good with jeans, especially capris. I am very pleased with my purchase. It's difficult to find dressy, comfy flats.

beautiful shoes which are wearing very nicely considering I do a lot of walking in them. Note: My ankles are narrow; hence, the elastic criss-cross is loose but that presents no problem for me. I would like the elastic to match the shoes; it doesn't. It's a plain beige, but overall the shoes are comfortable, gorgeous and sturdily constructed.
