DSL-1 Hose Bibb Lock

Simple to use and effective. Would buy again.

This is a simple lock for your water spigot. It basically has a component which screws over the screw on portion of the spigot to seal water from coming out, even if the spigot is turned to the open position. This component has an extension that the lock goes onto, but before you put on the lock, there's a cover component that affixes over the screw on portion. This cover can turn freely but is held in place by the lock. A thief cannot remove the cover because it's smooth and prevents the screwed on component from being screwed off by a thief. Simple solution for a common problem.The components materials are extremely high quality. A thief would not be able to cruse or bend the components by reasonable force with common tools. Highly recommend; would buy again.

These are great. It's that simple.Description versus Actual Product: they are exactly what they claim to be. They look just like the picture and function as stated.Construction: The metal is solid and fit perfectly on my standard American hose faucet.Lock Size: I would recommend buying small to medium locks. I wouldn't recommend a full-size padlock as I doubt it would properly fit.Durability: we had a man who would constantly turn on our water and leave it on all night while he screamed that demons were being released (not joking). Since we added these locks, he's left. I would have been happy to let him get water and move on, but we could no longer afford to have this happen, and he was becoming increasingly aggressive to my family and our home. Both spigot locks withstood a violent thrashing from him and there's barely a scratch on them. I hope he's OK, but after him aggressing on me when I asked him to please stop, it was time to protect the people in our home.Highly recommend these simple and affordable locks.

I bought this to keep my kids and their friends from turning on the hose in my backyard and making a muddy mess all summer. It works perfectly, although the included lock is super cheap. I ended up replacing with another one I had on hand.

i purchased this to put on an outside faucet at out condo. outside venders were filling up there trucks with water from other units and I didn't want that to happen to us. I wanted one that I could put own lock on. I could forsee one that had a key lock built in eventually getting rested. This one seems sturdy and able to withstand the weather conditions. time will tell. very happy for now

Simple is Better. Less moving functions to break or bypass. I’ve tried 4 other designs they were ineffective. With enough time All locks can be circumvented but this one will last you a bit longer and deter opportunists. Well done and I applaud the engineer or whomever designed this.

I liked how easy it was to install. Fit perfectly and looks nice.

So far it’s held up. Created the barrier so no one can connect a hose. So far so good.

We pay for our water usage where I live. I had noticed that one of my neighbours had put a lock on their outdoor water bib because of water theft by nearby construction workers. When it happened to me I ordered these right away. They fit perfectly and now there are no worries that I will be paying for water theft.

I love this product. My neighbors were stealing my water and now they can't! It works so effectively. Just wish a lock was included.
