Heart Designs Coloring Book (Dover Romance Coloring Books)

I bought this book for myself and I was not very happy with the quality. The pictures are on both sides of the page and the paper is not thick so the color shows through on to the back of the page and therefore, on to the next picture. If I had known this, I would have spent a little more money for a better quality book. I plan on just coloring one picture on each page instead of coloring the front and back of a page so the picture that I choose to color isn't ruined by coloring the next picture on the back of the page. However, this book would be great for kids who may like hearts and not notice the cheap design.

I bought this for my 7 year old daughter. I had bought some different, more elaborate geometric design coloring books for my 9 year old and didn't want her younger sister to feel left out. The book is filled with pretty simple heart designs that my daughter has had fun coloring. She pulls the coloring book out a couple times a month, spends 30-60 minutes coloring away and then hands out her finished artwork as "presents" to the family.

My 2 girls 15 and 18 both love the Dover books they are super for boring days when they are to lazy to breath lol and they can reach for these and just chill and have their hands busy doing something besides a game controller and now they both said the Dover's are the best of the ones I have purchased easier and bigger type design and room to work with their preference which is fine tip markers and also they use the colored pencils there is a wee bit of bleed through if they let the marker set idol in one space to long but not bad at all 5*****s

I was a little disappointed with this book. It has too many pages with large designs. Not challenging or interesting enough for us adults who find coloring with markers a very relaxing and creative way to express ourselves.

This book is not what I expected. My main disappointment was the designs themselves. I was expecting different types of hearts, stylized, etc. What I got was lots of plain hearts intertwined with more hearts, hearts running one way juxtaposed with hearts at different angles, and on and on. Most of the hearts are quite plain in design. Also, as mentioned before the designs are printed on both sides of each sheet, so bleed through is a problem, made even worse by the poor paper quality.This book would only work well for children.

Bought as a gift, recipient loved it BUT, some of the images had Grau vertical lines in them that have nothing to do with the design. It would bug me.

I love the designs in here. Some of them are big and bold, others are a bit intricate. This book is appropriate for all ages. I like to color as a way to unwind and this book is great for that. I use pencils and crayons, I'm not sure if markers would bleed through.

My teen age daughter is enjoying this coloring book. She just wanted something to color and I found this book which wasn't overly for small children.

It's more for a teenager not a adult.
