We had to replace an old drainer because the holes would get blocked up and not drain. After dealing with this annoyance for weeks since it came with the sink, we ordered this one.It's been working out great for us. The debris get pulled down and the water drains well.

Has worked fantastically for over a year. No signs of wear, mold, or excessive dirt. I use two of these in both sides of the sink due to a leaky disposal on one side; it catches enough that I have not had to use the disposal more than twice a year. Excellent seal and easy to clean; can pop up the center for easy cleaning of clingier waste that doesn't just shake off. Will buy again.

It does what it’s supposed to do, as far as how I wanted it to. Like many people I have a gagarbage disposal, and it just seems like when certain members of my family visit, things end up in the garbage disposal ground up. This helps with that. Here’s the thing: after about a year of use, the metallic ring fell off of the silicone drain plug. Do not fear, the drain plug works perfectly. I bought the special glue, but I don’t wanna be bothered with it. It works fine. Just understand you’re going to be buying a metallic ring that probably won’t survive past year.
