Andy's Seasoning Fish Breading Cajun 5 Lbs

And I like how it adheres to the fish during the battering process; as well as comes out of the deep fryer Crispy - not soft and soggy!Simply put, it is my Go-To batter when I cook up Catfish!

I love and have been using Andy's fish fry for years. I have always purchased the 1 lb. bags and it was fine. However, the 5 lb. bag is so salty that I have to mix it with equal parts cornmeal to lesson the salt. It is so salty, it makes the fish almost inedible. I will probably purchase it again, but knowing that I will have to add cornmeal to the mix.

Very mild spice enough to give it a really satisfying flavor. Use butter flavored pan spray on a cookie sheet. Spray the pan then place the breaded fillets on the pan. Spray the fillets with the butter flavorer pan spray, bake at 350 for 20 minutes then flip the fillets over and bake for another 20 minutes. Enjoy the fish...🤙

Came as expected and tastes as expected. If you’ve never had Andy’s Red, you’ve never had catfish the way it was meant to be. Little bit of Garlic little Peppery but not hot by any means at all, but if you are sensitive get regular Andy’s it is good too.

Unless you like gritty cornmeal coating don’t buy this. I tried and tried to convince my husband that he wasn’t going to like it but he insisted everyone says it’s the greatest. And to some I guess they might think that. However for us gritty fish is a turnoff. I always check the ingredient list and if it’s made with cornmeal I don’t waste money anymore. As far as quality of the product, packaging, quick delivery that was all great.

The best chicken breading on the planet!! I also use for pork!! This is the only breading I buy anymore. Turns out perfect every time. Coats easy and stays on well. Try it you will not be disappointed!!

This is the best breading for catfish I have ever used. No need to season the fish, the breading is seasoned enough. A bit on the salty side once cooked, but that's how I like it. Makes cooking fish less of a chore. Just dip your fish and fry. Delicious & crispy!

My husband fishes for crappie and we love to clean them up, coat them in Andys Red, and drop them in the deep fryer for a little bit. They are amazing.. it crisps up nicely and gives the perfect little kick.
