 The smell is a little strong, but if you turn it inside out and air it out for like a day or two it won't be so bad. I personally cut a little of the mouth so I could see better but over all this is a great mask for $10.

My 10 yr old son needed a horse mask for a movie his classmates were making. I searched Amazon and decided to buy this one. Very happy with it. It's very large for a small kiddo, but it didn't matter to him. In fact, all his friends wanted to wear it. It came shrink wrapped and in excellent condition. The details are so real and the hair isn't the usual cheap stuff. My son wore it as a Halloween costume too. The only downfall, in my opinion, is the fact that you have to look through the nose holes to see out of it. They are big enough, but they are kinda far away from your face. I still gave it 5 stars though because it's made so well.

First, for the reviews that are saying this mask is horrible and not what they expected, you paid ~10 dollars for a mask where its competitors are at least twice as expensive. What exactly were you expecting? With that being said, the description picture does not match the product precisely. I have attached a picture of me wearing the mask to show what is looks like when it is being worn. It definitely looks like a horse so it meets my expectations for a 10 dollar mask. I bought this mask as part of a Halloween costume and no one was confused as to what I was nor made a comment about the details of the face of the mask. It was actually a hit at the parties I attended. I have a rather large head so the mask fit snugly so I would suspect if you have an average sized head you should have no fitment problems. Overall, if you want this type of horse mask and don't want to spend 20+ dollars on it, then get this mask.

The look of the mask is exactly as shown. But....the smell is unbelievable. I don't think we will be able to wash that smell away. So, pretty much a waste of money. *update* we put it in the garage on Christmas to air out. I did not think it would be possible for that smell to leave. My kids went in the garage last night to check on it and low and behold, the smell is gone. So, let it air out for a few weeks and it will be loads of fun!

My son asked for this for his birthday, and while I thought that it was a weird thing to ask for, I ordered it. It's been a blast! I'm thinking of ordering one for everyone so that we can have a weird Christmas card, or family photo. Who knew, right!

I have a giant head so this a Little tight. We had so much fun wearing this while touring breweries!

received quickly and was surprised when i took it out of the box and it was perfect. i was expecting it to be all jacked. It wasn't folded or stuffed into packaging it had not one crease. the hair was soft and not ratted & it did not have any smell when you put it on. can not believe quality for price.

Hilarious horse mask. Had to buy a costume for a summer costume party. I wanted to be Bojack Horseman, a show on Netflix. This mask worked out great, I got a lot of compliments and belly chuckles from my friends. The eye hole is located in the horse's nostrils so it may take a bit to get use to. I will probably be using this mask again for Halloween.
