This gadget really saves time. I delayed getting one of these thinking I could just use a potato masher or my food processor to puree soups. This thing has the whole process done in a jiffy and is really easy to clean. (Way easier to clean than my food processor!)

Disappointed…not typical KitchenAid quality
I have had this a while. It replaced an older KitchenAid immersion blender that my daughter liked and I gave it to her thinking it could be easily replaced. I was so wrong! This thing falls apart every time I use it, seems much flimsier, lighter and definitely less powerful than my old one. So, today I will be shopping for a new one, but I am going to pass on KitchenAid this time.

Small, cheaply made, low power
Very disappointed!!!The head, specifically the blade, is small compared to other similar immersion blenders. The body to wand connection is very poorly designed and comes apart while in use. Also, it has much less power than I expected or would have hoped for.Don’t buy unless you want to mix one egg at a time!
