Consider the pros n cons before buying
I will sum up the review by way of caregories to save having a long winded paragraphs. The car it is installed to is a Passat GT BiTDI 240.Size - it is a lot larger than i expected and looks out of place on the dashboard. If you had a few more gadgets like a taxi has, it would be more at home. I managed to push the flat OBD cable down the windscreen and along the A post neatly. Its hardly noticible. The GPS USB cable is the typical round kind and won't be as easy to hide.HUD - the image without the screen suffers fairly bad ghosting and appears much duller than when used with the supplied screen. Different windscreens may vary of course. You can have it to display just the speed or speed and revs. I found the revs distracting and preferred just the digits.Supplied screen - thankfully it is not adhesive based so you can pull it off and re apply. If you do, use a stanley blade or knife to peel as your finger tip will curl the edge up. Anyone who had adjusted a screen protector will know what i mean. Also CLEAN your screen .... like really well. The display is quite bright when used with the screen, which is needed for sunny days. On contrast the dimmest setting is required for night time driving. The auto dimming is not perfect which brings me to the poor button which i have covered below. I will see how it fairs up with the darker nights coming in.Button -yes it is poor as others say. It feels flimsy for a rocker and click switch. I wonder how long it will last. For some reason they have the button at the front of the device - that is it is facing the windscreen and away from the driver. Making it harder to use. I had no option but to bring the device closer to make any adjustments within the menu which of course pulls the cable out of where you installed it out of sight. So leave some slack.Menu - its cumbersome at first but you will get used to it. I learned it quickly by playing around for a few minutes. The main hassle is the location of the button as you have to have it pointing toward the windscreen for the numbers to be the right way around to read. Attempting to read it backwards became daunting very quickly.Accuracy - i installed with the OBDII port and accuracy is about 99% to 100%. If it is off by 1mph it catches up or slows. I didnt need to adjust the speed in the menu. As its getting the info from the computer i wonder if it is the speedo or the HUD is catching up with the other.GPS - i tried the GPS for a short trip and it was reading slower than actual speed of about 1 to 3mpg up until 40 and climbed to 4 to 9 mph going upto legal speed limits. I never bothered adjusting the speed difference in the menu as OBD was my preference. However with the forever gaining difference i wonder if it would maintain accuracy across the speed range.Startup - minor annoyance is that is takes 2 to 3 minutes before it displays mph. Until then it displays bettery voltage and a knight rider effect. Great if your 8 or big kid.All that said it does what you'd want - an accurate heads up display (via OBD). I am happy to live with the button and flawed design as now it is setup, i shouldnt need to adjust it.This is my only HUD product experience so i cannot compare to any other. Hopefully the points raised will help you decide to accept the products flaws or dig deeper in your pockets for something with a higher price tag (which MAY be better).

Disappointed
Very disappointed with my purchase. Only one dedicated button for all functions and that too very dodgy and flimsy. By default the display was set to the brightest so I couldn't look at it directly even in broad daylight. Then I tried to proceed into the menu to choose my settings, but that solo knob jammed on me and wouldn't do anything. Even when it did in the first few clicks , moving through the menu was not simple at all and had to refer back to the booklet after each click. I do not recommend it. Word of advice to myself. Never buy anything that is all of these three at the same time. Cheap, electric and made in China.

Pretty good
I always wanted a HUD after seeing them on other newer cars and this is perfect, it emits light from the panel which is then reflected on the windscreen to see a hologram style speedo. It has other features too, but i dont use those and i prefer to use just the rev counter and the speedo. The only reason why i dont put 5* is because it beeps once you go over 95 and that's a little irritating. Other than that all good.

Nice but not accurate if driving on motorways
Used this for a few weeks now. City driving is perfect. But on motorway, it seems to be off by 3-5 mph if you are driving more than 80 mph.I was driving at 85 and it started reading at 90mph. But on a 30-60 mph, it is accurate.

It's OK
Works ok. Purchased for my daughter who's a learner so she keeps her eyes on the road. Doesn't read from the ecu on a fiat 500 but gets its power from here.

Broken
Automatic dimming does not work, making it blinding at night

You dont need to look any further for a great HUD
This HUD is great. It has a high quality display that works in all light levels. It has a built in baffle to stop you being distracted by the direct light. I think this is an essential. If you are looking for a HUD that simply tells you what speed you are doing look no further.
