I ordered 3 sets. All worked well. The description said set of backup batteries included, they were not. Otherwise this would have been 5 star. I used then for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Wowed my family. It was a beautiful and warm look on my dining tables. Used them in tealight holders where the candles are exposed. The effect was nearly as perfect as candle light without the worry. They were on the entire day and into the evening. For the price, I will be buying more. I specifically did not buy with remote. Anything with a remote will usually run down quicker. It is a bit more work to turn each on but they last much longer.

These small size flameless candles look great alone or in a votive candel holders. The candles produce a very warm-colored light that flickers and pulses like realistic candles. The romote is a handy feature and has several effect settings and brightness settings that I have not seen in flameless candles this small size. The only downside was the battery life. The seller, whom I can highly recommend, did have batteries installed in the candles and included another set of batteries in the shipment which was very considerate. The candles used up the installed batteries and the included package of batteries sooner than I expected. I bought new batteries for the candles and I used up the power in the new batteries rather quickly as well. The candles have a plastic "flame" that moves as well as a plusing/flickering LED light. I think that the flame movement may use up the batteries more quickly than other flameless candles this same size. If you need tealight size candles with a realistic flickering/moving flame effect for a special event or a short time span I can recommend these candles. If you are wanting something for day to day with a longer lasting battery life you may wamt to choose a different kind of flameless candle. That being said, the candles were shipped very quickly with an extra set of batteries - I would have no problems buying other items from this seller. The seller was thoughtful, professional and prompt!

They work as they should. I just haven’t figured out the timer function yet.

The candles have two features you might want to control: the dancing flame and the flickering of the light. On this particular set, despite the remote having two buttons to control these; there is no way to disable the dancing flame or toggle the flickering. The flickering and dancing on this particular set is very repetitive and the flickering turns off the light entirely. The dancing flame makes an audible click periodically. The light color is a little cooler than I was expecting; it does not match the color of the other larger flickering candles I purchased.

Some of the bottom of the tealights were not attached to the tea lights but were on the bottom of the box and needed a butter knife to push down and turn to put on. A little tricky to get on. Also it took about 4 weeks to ship. Once we got them put together they work great. I bought them for Christmas, so I don't know about the battery life.

These were great at first. Then a couple candles started blinking on and off instead of flickering. The batteries didn't last long, so I installed the second set that came with them. Those batteries worked when I put them in and lit the candles for about one hour. The next time I tried to use them, the batteries were already dead. No point in having a remote if I have to handle them to add a battery every time I use them. Not to mention how that drives up the cost. Didn't know all this until after I'd ordered a second set. Disappointed to say the least.

Realistic moving flame, nice off-white color, easy to use remote with automatic settings. Hard to believe these aren't real candles. But two of the ones I received are defective. One kept going out, and I replaced its battery 4 times in 9 days. Found out later that the batteries were still good; that candle just wouldn't stay lit. Another has a loose closure on the battery compartment and shuts itself off when I set it down. Frustrating problems, but the other 4 are still going strong after 2 weeks. Hopefully they will continue working because I do like them.

The description says on the front page that these have a timer and use 2 AAA batteries. But that is NOT true. First, these come with CR2032 Button Cell batteries, not AAA batteries. Second and most important, The timer function is not on the candle itself, it's only on the remote. The candle is still using the battery signal even when the light is out UNLESS you take the time to turn the switch to off on each and every candle after each use. If you don't turn each candle to the off position battery time will be very shortened. The description actually does say this sort of, way down at the very bottom lines under "Note For Customers of Usage." I did not learn this until after I purchased these candles. I'm actually very disappointed that they won't work as I expected. I'm giving them 2 stars because they're still lovely candles, and the remote works well, and they're probably a good value, but they lack the functionality I was led to believe for in the front page description. I don't like liars and misleaders. Learn to rely on the on/off switch on each candle, not the remote, if you want the batteries to last. I will very likely return these as I bought 2 sets of 12 and I'll never use that many if I have to always turn off each candle after each use.
