Aquilo introduced themselves earlier in the year with their ethereal debut EP,the subtle tones perfectly in time with their surroundings from where it was recorded, the isolated and expansiveness of a village in the Lake District called Silverdale. The band are pleased to announce their next EP, Human on B3SCI Records.

Not a quality pressing but can be salvaged when cleaned properly.
Similar to concerns raised by other reviewers, when I received this album it was not fit for listening. You could visibly see white vinyl residue filling the grooves of both sides. Once I thoroughly cleaned it, as I do with all of my vinyl before I play it, it played just fine. Not a great pressing, but passable and since it wasn't not available in my local shop I was thrilled to have it. Will likely wear out quickly with heavy play but since I'll only listen to this once a month or so, shouldn't be a problem.

Really great record, might not play well on cheap record players
Great album. The person who gave the 1-star review probably has a really bad record player. I had the same problem on my cheap piece-of-junk Jensen JTA-230 3 Speed Stereo Turntable with Built in Speakers, but I just got a new, much better record player (Audio Technica AT-LP60 Fully Automatic Stereo Turntable System, Silver) and now it plays PERFECTLY, as well as all my other vinyls that used to skip. I highly recommend this vinyl but only if you have a decent enough record player to play it.

Lightweight cheaply made Vinyl
I'm on my third copy of this particular vinyl. Amazon is great about re-placing/ exchanging my vinyl but every copy was warped and skipped. It's a very cheaply made vinyl, i'm not going to return my final copy. I'm going to try to use my flattener and reshape it myself. I highly recommend the band, but I do not recommend buying this particular vinyl. On the other hand if you collect color vinyl for aesthetic purposes only this is a solid white vinyl.
