LuminoxMen's Navy Seal Black/Black Rubber Watch

This is the second time I ordered one of these watches. The first time I ordered the watch and the one I received WAS not the one I ordered. It was the same brand but totally different. The second time I got the exact one I wanted. Besides that I love these watches, I wore them over seas when I was a sniper in the Air Force.

Perfect! I’ve wanted this watch for awhile. Love it!

I purchased this for my Son in Law. He is a Active operator in the Marine Core. I have other Luminox watches & they are impressive. Perfect watch for the men & women in the US Miltary. Especially on Certain Deployments.

This review is just for my initial impressions. I just received the watch a few hours ago and I wanted to note my experiences since there are so many mixed reviews on this watch.First off, I was hesitant to purchase from amazon because of the warranty situation. I have never had an issue with products from amazon, but it seems that Luminox won't honor the warranty unless you buy from an authorized retailer. Amazon offers a warranty with the watch, so if it was DOA then I'd be able to get my money back. The savings through amazon were enough that I decided to take a chance, and so far, I'm glad I did.Out of the box, it's awesome. The numbers are a little tough to read against the face since it's black on black. I had a Timex Expedition that had similar issues at one time. However, if you're reading an analog watch to begin with, then you probably don't HAVE to have the numbers to know what time it is. That's really the only negative. Some reviewers have noted, and I have seen this on YouTube, that some watches have come without the clear covering over the tritium vial on the bezel. Mine came and looks to be intact so far. It is also a lightweight watch, which can make it feel kind of cheap, but it looks and feels wonderful. It doesn't have a screw-down back (or screw-down crown), which makes me wonder how well the waterproofing is. There's lots of reviews that talk about fogging and condensation; I am going to be cautious of this and try to keep it out of the water. The rubber band is comfortable and so far hasn't snagged or pulled my arm hair (a real problem with chain bands, but just for those who might be wondering, it hasn't happened on this either). The other thing that I hadn't seen on this page is that the bezel does rotate. Maybe that's a given for a Luminox watch, but this is my first one so I was unsure when I purchased this and was pleased to find that it does rotate.I bought this watch because I wanted a watch with tritium vials in it. I looked around at several options, but I wanted to stay with something as cheap as possible. Smith & Wesson makes a few tritium models for less than $150, but they all looked super cheap and didn't feature tritium in all the places this does. I looked at a lot of the different options out there and decided that this would have to be my choice. I think this is the cheapest watch I could find that had tritium on each number, all three hands, and the 12 o'clock position on the bezel. How does the tritium look? It looks great! It is much more than normal glow numbers or hands on a traditional watch, and will be easily visible at night.So far, I'm happy with my purchase. I will continue to update the review if I have issues.UPDATE:I've had the watch for about three months now and I LOVE it. The tritium is as bright as it was on the day it arrived. It has held up well despite the few scratches here and there from everyday wear. It has kept excellent time and there is absolutely no fogging or condensation issues. Loving it lots!!

I had done a lot of research before purchasing my Luminox Evo Navy Seal Blackout Mens Watch on Amazon. I am a police officer working a patrol assignment and wanted something dark, that didn't make noise and was easy to set, adjust and readable in low light conditions. I also have been a loyal Casio G-Shock fan over the years and while they perform well for their price point, the Luminox is in a league of its own. I was happy with my decision to purchase through Amazon because I was able to save anywhere from $60-$120 depending on which competitor I looked at. I have no heartburn over the whole "Amazon is not a authorized retailer" issue. The savings alone is nearly 1/3 of the cost of a new watch anyway. Luminox has a solid enough track record to indicate the negative reviews are exceptions and not the typical customer experience with their watches. I like that the construction is solid, the mineral crystal is an upgrade from my G-Shock and the tritium gas capsules illuminate the watch face without being obnoxiously eye catching. I like the 12 o'clock position is orange and the rest of the face is illuminated by blue capsules at the number positions. The complaints of the face being a black on black design ring hollow and naive for me. It's a tactical watch and those of us that have had jobs with the "real time" that others refer to as a 24 hour clock do not mind that the numbers are subdued and blend in with the background of the watch face. The hands are conveniently illuminated with tritium capsules and I like that the second hand is as well. If you can't tell the time quickly by looking at the position of the hands on the face of the watch the fact that it is black on black is the least of your issues. The band exceeds the stiff plastic like band on my Casio G-Shock as well. The Luminox band is a softer material (latex?) that is very comfortable to wear. The band is also fitted with two "keepers" to assist with keeping the band neatly tucked away when fastened. I had no hesitation that my Luminox would be a "knock-off" after reading Amazon's policies for vendors. My watch came appropriately packaged according to Luminox standards and the watch contains all the genuine markings and features. This should not be a factor in purchasing this watch from Amazon or their third party vendors. Great watch, great price. My wife is an ER Nurse and after seeing mine she is ordering the Luminox Ladies Whiteout. I'll review again in a year to update on how the watch is wearing and performing. I have no reservations that it won't be fantastic.

I've been after a Luminox watch for years. Was disappointed when Luminox stopped producing this model. Was happy to find it on here and the price was great. This is now my daily wear watch, both in and out of uniform. Watch is solid despite feeling so light. The dial is tight. And as per true Luminox function, the watch face lights up exactly as it should and subtlety of the brightness is surprising to say the least.

いまだに現役で動いてくれてますスキューバ、スキー、海水浴、水泳など、いつどこでも水没するレジャーをしてきましたが壊れるどころか電池の交換さえしたことがありません二年保証ですのでもう保証は切れてますが、これだけ耐えてくれたので満足です2020年4月追記電池の交換をすると防水性は生活防水レベルにまで落ちます。（お店や自分で交換した場合）7年使用して電池が切れたのはこれで二回目です、非常に耐久性が高く、目立たないのでいまだに愛用しています

カラーマークシリーズ2個目の購入です。写真よりもかなり黒い感じでいいです。購入してすぐにナイロンベルトの真っ黒に変えてすごいいいです。
