Sentry Pro Wireless Door/Window Contact

These look great installed on doors top RHS or LHS. The sticky pads are by 3M and stick great once I sand the backs and clean with white spirit, good key. No false alarms yet and used for several months. Easy to pair with my alarm console and then setup with full and home arms.

I comes with the system I have bought previously- working well but needed a spare contact. Have been using for over 2 years now and had no problems

These wireless alarm door/window contacts are good value and are proving to be more reliable than previous versions. A must addition to any wireless alarm system.

The sensor is small and compact with an optional wire to extend the range but at over 40 feet away through walls there is no need.The only downside is the battery life is poor. I get about 3 months of use then the red light comes on for about a day (which stays on draining more power!) and then it stops working. Batteries cost about £3.79 each at shops but on Amazon about £2+ for 5 which is more palitable but when you have a lot of sensors the cost racks up. It is a shame it cannot work on an AAA battery instead which is more cost effective.

One of them was faulty which is replaced now. The quality is missing it comes apart easily. Other than that it is not bad. They need to make it sturdy.

installation is easy and warning light comes on when door opens but doesn't activate the alarm, unless there's an entry delay, not clear on instruction
