The VanGuard 2 is a minimalist IWB holster. Unlike traditional IWB holsters, the VG2 covers only the trigger guard of your weapon. This unique design eliminates the bulk of a traditional holster, while providing a level of safety and security not attainable by simply sticking a pistol in the waistband of your pants. The VanGuard 2 can be used multiple ways: First, it can be used (without the lanyard or the overhook) as a trigger guard cover for storage and transportation safety. This prevents foreign objects from finding their way inside the trigger guard and potentially pressing the trigger, while still allowing the slide to be cycled and the magazine released. This gives users the ability to clear the weapon without the danger of a negligent discharge. Next, it can be used with the static-line tether for on-body (IWB) or off-body carry (such as inside a bag, purse, briefcase, vehicle console, etc). This allows the weapon to be safely carried with a chambered round without fear of a negligent discharge, while still being rapidly deployable. The holster can also be removed by catching the nose of the holster and prying it off. This allows one-hand deployment of the weapon even if the tether or attachment point fails to remove the holster. Finally, the user can attach the overhook to create a stable, secure, IWB holster. The complete system is fully adjustable for ride-height and cant, is tuckable for maximum concealment, and fully ambidextrous.

Comfortable, but room for improvement
This is by far the most comfortable holster I have ever worn, but there is room for improvement.First, the belt clip is not the best. Because the retention needs to be so strong on this style of holster, a loop or utiliclip style belt connection is really necessary for a consistent draw and worth upgrading too. (Note: depending on the clip you use you may loose the "tuckability" of the stock clip)Second, I think it is worth spending a little more on the advanced kit that comes with the claw. This holster conceals well, but it conceals a lot better (on me) with a claw.Warning: Raven will not sell you a claw kit separately to upgrade this holster, so you will need to buy one on your own. I ended up using the concealment express claw kit and prefer it over the raven claw. (You can piece together a raven claw kit via 3rd party sellers, but having tried both I don't think its worth the effort or the expense). One final note, your slide will likely rub against the inner rivet of your pants button or your belt buckle with this holster. I personally don't mind this kind of cosmetic damage but I'd imagine some people might care.

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!
If you are looking for a minimalist IWB carry option, this is THE ONE to have! The construction is solid and the fit is perfect. It is my go-to holster when I want to conceal as much as possible. Doesn't add any weight or bulk. I don't carry appendix, so can't advise on the comfort of that method with this holster. I carry strong side at about 4-4:30 and it is super comfortable since all you notice is the handgun itself. You will definitely want to wear a good belt to make sure the clip is secure. If you have a well-worn and/or 'saggy' belt, you may experience an issue with the clip slipping off. If you wear this type of belt, you should also use the lanyard in case the holster comes off when you draw. If you like to carry with even less bulk, you can remove the clip and just attach the lanyard to your belt. With this type of configuration, there isn't any reason why someone would feel the need to carry in the waistband without a trigger guard at the very least. The lanyard also comes in handy if you are carrying off body or in a purse or bag. I would suggest using a piece of parachute cord, as the 'string' they send is pretty dainty. You can also buy a belt loop for this holster from Vanguard if that is your preference. There are also many other clip options available from many aftermarket sources if you want to mod it out a little.

This is amazing
This is so easy to conceal. I will say that when I first opened it I struggled to get the barrel aligned with the little groves. Once I finally had it in correct and heard the click I realized how difficult removing the gun from it was. Not sure if anyone else has had this issue. After finally getting it out and unloading the weapon, I spent the next 30 minutes just putting it in and out over and over. Also stayed a bit of gun lube in the grove to help it slide better. This really helped. Now it slides in easy enough and you can actually pull your firearm from the holster. This is the smallest easiest holster I’ve ever seen to conceal. I have the sig p365 and that’s such a small gun. This doesn’t add any extra bulk and me being a size 2 female, can actually conceal carry with this weapon and holster. So if it’s really stiff at first just play with it for a bit. It’ll loosen up a bit and still have retention but allow you to pull the firearm. And you can cheat and simply lightly spritz a bit of gun lube in there and slide it a bunch to help the process.

Best yet
Currently my favorite and only IWB that I’m using out of a drawer full of top name brand ones. This does what it says and adds ZERO bulk. If you don’t mind not having a sweat guard this is an excellent item. Very secure. Just remember without a proper belt, it won’t work as it should.

Best out there for reliable retention and release
I have this holster for a SIG P365 SAS and a Glock 43 and they are just made right. I tried knockoff holster that looked the same, but they failed to deliver the reliability.

p365 holster fits p320 holster's claw and clips.
I first bought one for my p320 XCompact and loved it so much I bought one for my new p365. Since I don't use the claw or clips on my p320 (I use the string method) I was curious to see if they fit the one made for p365, and they do. I attached the 1.75" clip and the claw from the p320 kit I bought from the Sig website onto this holster made for the p365, and it's the perfect setup for me. FYI, this p365 holster comes with the 1.5" clip only, no claw, and no lengthy instruction manual. One thing to be aware of, the inside button grommet on your bluejeans may rub against your pistol and leave marks since there's nothing covering it. I wet my finger and the silver colored scratches came right off. Doesn't bother me because these are the most comfortable holsters I've found.

Good low profile concealment
This concealed carry clip is great. I use it on the Sig P365, not the XL. Very low profile concealment. The trigger guard keeps a nice firm hold of the firearm. The belt clip grabs the bottom of my belt, and I have not experienced any situation in where it doesn't stay attached to the belt when drawing the firearm. Others have complained about this. I don't see how they have had that experience unless there were using the guard without a belt. There is also a provided cord you can wrap around your belt if the clip does come loose from the belt itself. This will also pull the gaurd off when drawing. I have done no less than 100 draws with this system. I have no complaints. Good buy in my opinion.
