Review: Makes a Good Notebook Cover - I used these to make a couple covers for 5.5"x7" notebooks, and they are quite sturdy for how thin they are. Was able to cut one at a time using a pretty standard guillotine paper cutter.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will the Cricut Maker cut this?**
A: Yes Cricut MAKER can cut this size. But will take several cuts to go thur this size clipboard.

**Q: Can be cut with sizers?**
A: The chipboard is fairly thick, however, these can be cut with scissors but they'll need to be pretty sharp.

**Q: Can an xacto knife cut through it?**
A: Yes.  An exacto knife cuts through it, however, depending on the sharpness, you may have to cut through it a few times.  It’s pretty thick.

**Q: can you us a hole puncher on this?**
A: I used a We are Memory Keepers Cinch Book Binding Tool. Sort or a heavy duty multiple holes punch thing.  As far as a standard single hand-held hole punch, it works but you wouldn't want to do a ton of them. 
Just as a heads up, I needed a bunch cut to 5x7, and most print shops and similar businesses wouldn't touch it because it is too thick and will dull their heavy duty blades.

I purchased a few different brands of chip board and this one is by far the BEST I have used for bookbinding. I make handmade blank hardcover journals and good book board is a must! This is firm so all I have to do is cut it in half and the firm bend part is in the correct position therefore allowing me to use only one piece per book. Others I have tried I had to use two pieces as the firmness was in the wrong direction which was very wasteful! This will be my goto from now on!!!
