Fun for Play
Santa brought this for my 10 year old. We tried it out according to directions. The lime green comes out quite pretty when hair is dry, but the blue dried with a grey cast and she said it looked like she had grey hair.The part I did not like was when drying with a hairdryer it is kind of dusty and hard to get a brush through. I prefer the temporary hair colors that wash out after several shampoos. They still leave your hair soft.I think for future use we would use this to color the tip of her pony tail or something like that so you don't have to worry about getting a brush through it. In other words it seems like it could be quite drying to hair.

The colors are vibrant, I didn't realize that my hair would feel like straw after applying this to my hair. Definitely have to wet the hair before you put on. My 5 year old and I have fun putting 'colors' through the hair.

Meh.
There must be better out there. These work just so so on light brown hair. Wouldn't purchase again and wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Cute idea
The chalk was easy to apply to my daughter's hair, but I was disappointed at how light it looked when on.

I am not sure how this is different from any other chalk. It looks like regular chalk and works like regular chalk. You can't comb through it and it all disappeared from my daughter's hair by the end of the day.

Daughter loves these
Bought for 14 year old daughter for Christmas, and she loves them. She has blonde hair so it lasts 2 washes or so. Said that the colors are great and that she does not have to set them to make them stay in all day.

Only for blondes
I followed the directions in wetting the hair, using the white chalk first, setting with a flat iron, etc. Still didn't work on my medium brown hair. It made a huge mess and turned my flat iron blue. I went with the chalk because of all of the people that reported spitting up blue stuff after using the colored sprays - well this was no better. I had blue stuff coming out of my nose and mouth all day, and my bathroom was a mess. Save yourself the hassle and get a colored wig or go with the spray (it's at least brighter and sticks around longer).
