Bought the turntable for my girlfriend's baking business. It is 20x better than her old plastic one, just with on push it can spin well over 25 times! Because it spins so easily it can start to move when doing stationary work, so the old plastic one is still great for that. If it is a problem you can just use a heavy object to rest it against to prevent movement. Also it is best to purchase some anti slip matting to rest the cake board on as they will slide around a bit! The matting is inexpensive and can be used for many other things around the kitchen, so isn't a problem.It is genuinely a fantastic product for the price, and is easy to clean, store, and use. Has provided a much larger and efficient platform to create smoother, greater cakes.Would 100% recommend to anyone who is contemplating buying one.Cj

This cake turntable has turned out to be one of the best purchases I've made recently... Not ONLY does it allow for easily covering cakes, it also allows use for many other things... I have a small air fryer which I'm forever dragging over the work unit and having to turn it... This turntable is brilliant when I use it on the worktop with that on... It's metal, sturdy and at 12" in width, perfect for all cakes and very sturdy and safe for other options... GREAT purchase

This is quite heavy as the one before was plastic but the rotation on this one is so good and smooth comes with the rubber base so it doesn’t move. Easy to clean just a wipe over, you will need some sort of rubber matting or the cake board will slide around excellent for half of the price of some makes. Highly recommend.

This is what professionals use. The rotation is smooth and flawless. The tools and stand are both made of sturdy metal. How sturdy? I have security footage of the Amazon delivery guy literally throwing the package at my front door on a rainy day. Even with rough handling, nothing in this set was damaged. I even used a leveling tool to make sure the cake stand was not tilted. This baby is stunning AND strong as heck. By far, this is the best purchase I’ve made on Amazon. Considering the price point and the outstanding quality, this purchase is a steal. I would 100% recommend.
