Our one year old loves this book so much we bought a second copy. He would fall asleep holding this book as opposed to a plush or stuffie months ago. He played with this book so much the spine started to get a lot of wear so we bought a second copy. It’s well put together and the pictures are great.

I bought this for my 4-month old baby because I wanted to get her a book that was SIMPLE. Too many books are made for older infants or children with so many pictures and words on one page. Because she is so young, I knew I needed something that was much more simple for her to register. I was looking for a simple, non-distracting book with only one item/one color on a page at a time--just so I can get my 4-month old started on looking at pictures and recognizing them. This fit exactly what I was looking for. I love the vivid colors and how simple the design is. She loves looking at the fuzzy yellow chicken.

I had this book for my first daughter and she enjoyed it. I had to rebuy it for my 4 month old daughter. Just got it today and read it to her she really liked it. Trying to flip the pages. This is a good book for young babies to interact with reading. All the pages are hard and it's one object per page.

My 4 month old loves this book. My kindergartner loves to read it to her. It is full of bright colors and interesting pictures to keep her attention. It is just the right size for her little hands. I love that it gives her a head start and hopefully a love for reading.

I got this along with the other 2 bright baby books I saw on here (colors and first words) for my book loving 18 month old. he absolutely LOVES them! we have other books similar, but they all have several items per page and he seems to really love that each page is only one thing. He focuses right on it and says all the words he knows. :)

Meh. Usually we love Bright Baby books, however, this book was boring. My 19-month-old loves just about any book imaginable, but this book is a total dud to her. It's not the best book to teach colors because the examples will show an item with multiple colors. Like, an apple that is both green and red. That can be confusing for a young one just starting to learn colors.Overall, I wouldn't recommend this book. There are better options out there.

The 'red apple' is red and green. Why choose that apple when there are other apples that are all red? It also includes the color gold - which looked yellow to me. The color 'silver' was not shiny, and could be easily confused with gray.

lovely bright pictures but the ink is horribly strong and toxic. gave me a headache. hope we can air them about before giving them to my 6 month old grandson

Our one year old daughter loves these books. The simple images and bright colours really attract and hold her attention. The page sizes are perfect for her to sit with and flip through herself.

good product….when product is new…hard to turn the pages - needs working in before little one can do by him/herself
