It's the old story, you get what you pay for. It is very pricey, however, the quality remains after the price is forgotten.

I bought this Nustep model in March of 2021. It IS the best purchase of my life-healthwise. I have severe sciatica, can barely get out of bed in the A.M. I get out of bed, get on my Nustep and workout for 30 minutes, and can walk normally, with no pain. At over 80, I function now like I was 20 years ago. It is the only exercise machine that is impossible NOT to use. The longer I own the more I want to use it. You use your arms and legs in tandem, or separately, and gives a great cardio and strength workout at the same time. For people who can't or hate to exercise, this will change their lives. even if you are a 20 year old athlete, this can give you a fantastic workout. Expensive yes-but a bargain to keep you healthy into your late age.

i went to rehab after a stroke and they asked me to try using this machine. i have had a broken back for 15 years or more and thought this is going to hurt just like everything else i have tried. The physical Therapist showed me how it worked helped me get my feet into the straps and then stepped back and let me figure out if i could do this. Twenty five minutes later i was crying and running full speed imagining i was a kid again running down the boardwalk. i felt great. My Therapist was concerned but i told her about my imagining being whole again and being able to exercise without pain and i have been in love with this machine since then. But it is outside of my reach and further away with each raise in price. Gyms do not carry this, the Y doesnt have one, and the only places that have one are physical therapy and i cannot go to this without coverage allowing me to. But if you can afford this buy it, it is well made and perfectly adjustable for your level of strength and your body shape and size. Good luck i hope this helps somebody.

We have this model in our Exercise Hall at our Retirement Community, HOA Club House. There is always a line waiting to use this machine here. This machine is great for people who are recovering from joint surgery, or have back problems - including sciatic pain. This is the most comfortable exercise machine I have ever been on! Not only comfortable to sit on, but comfortable all through the exercise. Excellent workout, without the joint compression (impact issue. I can only use a bicycle-type machine for about 5 minutes - feels good - but then my knees start hurting and continue hurting for about 2 days. Its not elliptical and it's not bicycle, but you push your feet down at an angle, and it comes back up. Very adjustable, Very strong. I highly recommend this machine. I don't often write Reviews, and I am not receiving anything from the manufacturer. I just really like this machine, and am thinking of buying one for myself. It seems a bit "spendy",($$) but this time iit's worth it.

I have been using this machine at rehab. It's the only machine that does not aggravate my back pain. Would love to have one for home use. It also allows you to increase resistance and keeps track of minutes and equivalent miles . It's a great workout

I used NuStep in Cardiac Rehab following a heart attack at age 35. Bought one for home. Bought another 20 years later for my uncle, who was using it at age 92. My dad used mine up til the day he died, age 88. Ive had no further heart problems (27 years). Yes, it’s pricey. But how can you put a price on your health? PS. Absolutely no maintenance required. Just needs dusting!
