All in all good trap just be kinder and make trap 3" longer ...
This trap really catches the mice. 2 mice in 3 days. Would have given 5 star but the trap is to short both mice have had their tails trapped in the door when it sprang shut. One got a small dent in her tail was only in trap for short while other mouse chewed off his tail at the trap door :( he was in for possibly 2 hours as I check before I went our and was gone for 2 hours and when I came home he was in trap with part of his tail (about an inch and a quart) was in the trap door. This trap should be a few inches longer and just a little wider and taller is quite narrow. The mice I caught were average size. Traps need to be checked often both time when I caught the mice the trap was steamed up (foggy) from their breathing and the mice were wet from both that and they peed from probably fear and since the cage is plastic it was all over the mice as well. All in all good trap just be kinder and make trap 3" longer so tails do not get damaged, they need there tails for balance.

Cruelty Free 100%
Well, I'm really happy I purchased this mouse trap. It's so cruel to use those glue pads...I do not see myself doing that, neither killing them with poison. Tomorrow the super of my building is coming to close the holes on the wall...meanwhile, I wanted to try using a mouse cage. There is a construction next to my building, which is an old factory, and they keep on coming and going lately. I was told mint scares them away...but I'm pretty sure they got used to it...So I decided to try the CaptSure Humane Smart Mouse Trap. I used yesterday and caught one, and today I caught two little babies together. I even feel guilty to split the family...kkkk...But they did have a very nice meal, some parmesan cheese, before relocating to their new home...and then I released them near the river. I would suggest you guys, to make this trap in different light colors, plus clear too. I'll put a water container for them inside, so I can put the trap at night, and free them in the morning...and while some people hate these little creatures... I Thank you for the great idea on using acrylic, and having a good heart. Better not to have them inside my place, and I'm working on that, but NY wouldn't NY without these stories... Here is the pic.

Fantastic Product! A+
45 minutes after I set up my 6 brand new traps I caught my first mouse. Then I caught another one about 24 hours later. I've let them go about 5 miles from here in a nice park with streams and lakes. I hope I caught the "problem" of mice in my house fast enough. I used peanut butter and followed your simple instructions. I'm a huge animal lover and just don't feel right killing these little guys. Thanks for a great humane trap! Just reset them all after reading your PDF. Thank you! Great product!

They catch mice!
These mousetraps work very well. We caught 6 mice in two traps in three days. We put the bait inside the main compartment, not in the end cap because it doesn't seem fair to catch the mouse and not even give it the bait to eat! The reason I gave 4 stars is because the traps are hard to clean. If you leave the mice in the trap overnight or longer, mouse poop accumulates and it's hard to wash out, especially from under the platform. I soaked them overnight in the bathroom sink with dish soap and plenty of Clorox. It would be great if they came apart for cleaning. The amber color is a plus for being able to see if a mouse is inside.Because it can take my husband longer than a day to be able to relocate our mice, and I plan on using these traps on a regular basis, I decided to get a holding tank for them while they wait. That should reduce the amount of poop that has to be washed out of the traps. I bought a $10 lucite tank with lid at Petco, took off the end caps from the traps and quickly dumped the mice into the tank through the hatch. Ran some newspaper through a shredder to give them a little burrowing cover. Now my guests are comfortable and I can give them a little water and food until their ride arrives! The tank is very easy to clean compared to the traps. The seller sends a helpful followup pdf of mouse info that has pictures of various mice and suggestions for bait, etc.
