Native American Style 15 in. Elk Hide Frame Hand Drum

This is a beautiful drum. Looks accurate to the picture shown. The skin is beautiful and the drum has a nice sound. Inclosed is a card on how to care for the drum in weather extreams. Well package and quicker than average delivery. Includes drum beater. I would probably no use a dowel but a true stick. May transfer to leather sock on the end ot another authenic stick. Feel the price is equal to the product. I would recommend this drum to others in our Native Church.

This drum looks exactly like the picture. It has beautiful resonance. We have used it to accompany American Indian hymns in church and have received compliments & encouragement to do so again. Every time I play it, I feel better from within.

Something was not tied together or crafted right. The drum makes a raspy sound when you hit it. Very distracting and not pleasant sounding.

I really like the sound and looks of this drum, worth the money!

I don't like the mallet, hence the 4 stars. It's too long for the size of the drum and whatever is underneath the leather, doesn't distribute evenly.Otherwise, the drum itself is lovely! The craftsmanship is very well done. The skin is see through, which makes it appear delicate, but it is durable.I got it for shamanic journeying.

A little hard to hold, but I expect that is just practice

Excellent quality drum. The stick is made from a dow rod. I was not as impressed the the drum stick as i was with the drum.

Great sound and size is really easy to hold with a great handle on the back.
