Far better than expected
This thing scribes steel wonderfully. I am surprised it still works well after overtwo months of hard use, stays sharp. Very good USA made product.

I wanted to like it, but it Immediately fell apart.
With 4 stars average over dozens of reviews, I thought it was at least going to work. First time I went to use it (the straight side, the only part I ever use), the smooth, shiny part fell out of the knurled handle with my having barely put any force on it. It didn't seem worth it to go through returning, and not knowing if the replacement would be any better, I figured I'd (eventually) epoxy it in. I've been using it for a month without the handle, which is awkward, and bugs me every time I use it, because even for $8 or whatever it was, it shouldn't just come apart like that. Today I finally got around to trying to put it together. I measured how deeply the pointy part inserts into the handle, and it's quite a way, so instead of grinding down the inner part and gluing it, I tried to just shove it in. Whereupon, the end of the handle split. This tool didn't exactly spark joy for me.

Great bike tool!!
I bought this to use when I cut my bike cables. For those of you who have done this we always have to use a pick to open the end we cut. I kept making due with something I had around and said enough! Get the right tool!!This tool is perfect for that!! Seller got this to me days before I expected it!!!

Very Pleased with this tool
This Moody Tools 51-1510 is a very professional tool, I actually like it a little better than the General tools #80, however the General tools #80 comes with vinyl protective covers (one on each point end) the Moody doesn't;With that said the Moody 51-1510 is a little slimmer & sharper than the General #80, which I think will come in handy for smaller intricate jobs, plus it's made in the U.S.A.(The Moody 51-1510, and the General #80, are both very good tools).

Buy a dozen!
This tool is everything a scriber should be. On top of that is made in the US. That makes me proud to have it in my tool box. And at that price - I can have more than one in my tool box, heck one in all my tool boxes! Great for scribing (marking metal) and lots of other uses as well.

Okay for the price
It's okay for the price. It sure isn't Snap On quality but it works for picking O-rings out and poking around at little stuff.
