It is very expensive. With a family of six though, we needed to organize our entryway. I will gladly pay more for things when I know they will last. The wood and stain is very nice. What sets this apart from other coats racks is the many different size options and, more importantly, the ease of sturdy, solid installation into studs in the wall. Without hesitation, the kids can hang backpacks and coats on the wall. I bought two 41" x 3.5" racks. Each rack is mounted to the studs in three places! Very sturdy! Since it mounts behind the hooks, it looks really nice too. I am very pleased. Thanks for coming up with such an ingenious design!

This is a very well made, beautiful piece, that anyone can add to their home. I work in a factory, so buying made in the USA products is very important to me & my family. It is easy to install, on any wall. The hooks are a very nice color, & the option to choose the color & size that will best fit your home is an extra bonus! I have been searching for a coat rack for quite some time, they were all very cheaply made, & not very attractive. I am so happy that I found this & have already received compliments on it. I love this item & would recommend this to anyone!!!

We love this, it's a perfect fit for behind our front door. It's solid wood, will last probably a thousand years. And having mounts behind the hooks is genius - you just line it up with your studs, take off the hook temporarily to reveal a screw hole, screw it into the stud, put the hook back on and there you go. No ugly screws anywhere. We hang multiple Oregon winter and rain jackets, as well as my wife's heavy purse, on this with no problems or worries. Was definitely worth the price! And it comes in multiple sizes.

I really like how the design of this rack hides the wall-mounting pilot screw holes behind the brackets. Also you should note that the rack comes with wall-mount pilot holes pre-drilled behind each and every bracket. This is a great thing because it gives you maximum flexibility when you're trying to position the rack to look nice, aesthetically, and to also line up such that you'll be mounting it through the sheet-rock and into the wood studs in your wall. We're really pleased with this product (we got the 52" variant, with 10 brackets, where each bracket has two hooks).

Product is as pictured. Well made and looks great in our entry. I wish the hooks were a little further apart but I will take the number over space. The side by side hooks over the 2 on top of each other works so much better for seeing what is on all the hooks.

This is a beautiful piece of wood and was easily installed. The lag screws (provided) mount through four pre-drilled holes that align well with stud spacing (I hit 3 of 4 since one of my studs was out of place). Six of the 10 hooks were pre-mounted and the other four fit over the lag screws into pre-drilled starter holes. The only tools I needed were 1) a stud-finder, 2) a level, and 3) a Phillips screwdriver. Quick research showed that about 5 feet up the wall was ideal.

I almost never leave Amazon reviews. I'm just too busy. But this coat rack -I know, a coat rack, right?- is very well made, very attractive and very authentic. Furthermore it is very functional. The ability to send the two mounting screws into the wall behind any of the coat hooks not only hides the mounting screws nicely but makes it much easier to ensure the rack is mounted into wall studs for solidity and security. I may buy another one. Made in the USA!

Excellent product - obvious quality - no screw heads visible that secure coat rack to wall. Measurements of predrilled holes are true in respect to 16 inch studs. Provided hardware is very durable, and over-engineered in anything - coat rack could support a child by the loop in his jacket. Don't hesitate - you will echo my enthusiasm.
