Daniel Goes Out for Dinner: Ready-to-Read Pre-Level 1 (Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood)

I bought a set of these first readers for my daughter's 3rd birthday, but ended up giving her a couple early as she has already started to read by herself when she was 2. These are IDEAL first readers, the text is simple, present tense and clearly printed, very easy to read. They are perfectly designed for children to read on their own and get a sense of accomplishment from the mastery of reading simple phrases that make up the story correctly. I love the Daniel Tiger series, it's so essential for little ones to help them cope with their emotions and interactions with others.

Daniel Tiger is my 18 mo grand daughter's favorite. She is only allowed 30 mis of TV a day and Daniel is her choice. The books are great so we can read and talk about the characters after the TV show. The lessons are based on Mr. Rodgers Neighborhood. Not only do they teach children, but also adults. It teaches adults how to talk to children in a respectful and understanding way. This book gives some ideas for entertaining children while waiting for food at a restaurant.

Great for Daniel Tiger fans. It helped my daughter to learn about eating at a restaurant. Love that it had a little game you could play while waiting for your food!

Love daniel tiger and everything that PBS does. Its a great book and my 4 yo likes trying to read it as well.

My 4 year old loves Daniel. She was able to read the whole thing. I helped her with two words. Great book to show kids how to be patient at restaurants. But we just bring the iPad for her n that works.

My daughter loves this book. It's great for teaching kids what to expect and how you should behave while eating out.
