Cheap but does the job
This hood is inexpensive, and it has an inexpensive feel. The alignment marks do not match on my Canon 18-135 EF-S IS lens unless you want the words "Design for Canon EW-73B" to be on the underside of the lens when locked in place. The hood does not intrude into the picture no matter what the zoom level (at least with this lens). The plastic feels exactly the same stiffness as the Tamron-name hood on my Tamron zoom. The plastic's finish is matte, and is less reflective than my other hoods. For the money, it's quite a decent product.

It just works
I ordered this for the 18 - 135 mm IS STM lens that came with my New T4i. It fits perfectly and easily. It seems to be made reasonably solid. If you want something more solid order the Canon one... The text on the top of mine isn't the same as what is in the pic though. (Minus 1 Star)I always put a lens hood on my lenses. They help protect from those everyday bumps and bangs...Happy ShootingStephen FinkNew Realm Photography

Has the same fit and feel of Canon's
Well worth the price. I found the quality and function to be the same as any name brand lens hood. It fits tight, no slipping or falling off issues. Much like the Canon one, You can reverse the Hood to click in place backwards for easy storage in your bag.Pros: Cheap, Fits great, A must have for any lens.Cons: None so far, seems to be holding up well.

does what it is sapposed to do
Cheap, fits in great and clicks, good build. The only con I found was that at long zoom length if you use the flash you will see a shade of the hood. Not recommended to use with the popup Flash.Definitely worth the money.I recommend.

Click in to place
I love this hood because it click in to place nicely, and can also be reverse to keep it on the Len when not use. It feels a little thin, but what more do we expect for a Len hood al it suppose to do is to help block the unwanted light. I am very happy with this hood, and again I like the click in to place feel.

Great hood.
the hood is great it locks on and stays on my canon 70 D. My only concern is its a little thinner then my other hoods but it still sturdy.

inexpensive and just right for the job
this is a great product - ligjhtweight, and fits my lens perfectly. it's already protecting my shots from lens flare and the elements!

tight fit, bad fit
Although this claims to be from "precision design", the thread on the hood does not fit the thread on the lense well, and you need to twist it really hard to mount either forward or backward. It takes so much force that makes me worry that I'm gonna one day destroy my lense. On the other hand, I've never tried the original Canon hood coz it's twice as expensive. So anyone can give me some feed back on how the Canon hood fits would be appreciated.
