Happy Using it as a Key Light, Ordering Another for Fill
Very nice and bright. Used as a key light for Youtube style talking head videos that I've been making for school projects. Although I was irritated about it at first, the 1/4"/20 threading has been a pretty good feature since I can use existing ball head mounts to position the light without needing to purchase adapters. This also means I can put it on my tripod with a quick-release plate and switch around lighting and cameras on a whim. This is not going to be too technical, but I'll throw out some numbers as I remember them. As a key light for my use, especially with supplemental lighting, I can get down to ISO 100 at a close distance. I've never needed above ISO 200-400 for any lighting/lens configuration I use. Keep in mind I'm using fast primes from 1.8-2.8 (on a 1.6 crop sensor, do the math for full frame) at ISO 100, but my zooms in the f/4-5.6 range do well at or below ISO 400. If the light is further away in a single light situation, with the diffuser on, I need ISO 800, but I've never used it like that outside of testing. I've tested it with self portrait stills and was very happy with what I could do without a flash. Just keep in mind the inherent downsides of using continuous light sources (under-powered compared to flash), especially LED ones (color issues), and work accordingly if you plan to use it as such. One thing to note is the power requirements. At the time of purchase, they had conflicting information on the product page itself, and also in the QA section from the manufacturer. This led me to buy the wrong adapter (bought 8V when I need 12V). This is an issue with the seller and manufacturers, not the product itself. From what I've gathered there are two versions with different power requirements, so check with the seller before purchasing an adapter, and double check on the light itself for the power ratings.

Man, I love these things!
I ordered two of them. I use them for setting up my portable studio to do Youtube videos. I love that I don't have to worry as much about lighting conditions to the places I visit now. I carry a bag with 5 tripods, 3 cameras, two of the lights, and my wireless microphones.I place the lights on the two (cheap) light tripods, and my cameras get set up beside them. These lights can get quite bright, and it's great that these light, portable lights don't punch out a lot of heat, and have filters to match the temperature of the ambient lighting/environment.Easy to set up, easy to use, and effective.

Excellent for portrait work...check out the light meter test I conducted
I just purchased two of these and really like the output that I get from them. The overall light quality is fantastic. The body doesn't seem like it can take a beating, but then again I am only shooting in studio so I don't plan on beating it up much. The one thing I was curious about was f-stops could I shoot at and at what distance. So I took out my light meter and in my opinion the output is more than enough power to handle my portrait work.At 100 ISO and at 1/125th of a second shutter speed the f/stops were as follows: 8ft - 5.6 6ft - 8 4ft - 11 2ft - 22

Bien
Bien, lo unico malo es que no tiene los dos tonos. Se cambiarian con el panel que trae pero eso es muy naranja

small but BRIGHT*
This light is one of the smaller lights in my lighting arsenal but it has the brightest output. It comes with a remote and it’s dimmible so that is a HUGE plus. It come with this weird mount that I don’t really see being useful unless you are hollywooding the light. The fan on these are noticeable when they do get hot, but they shouldn’t be much of a problem. One major draw back is that the barn doors on these are kinda useless. They do kinda help a little bit at dimming the light but that’s not really what barn doors are for. They’re for cutting light. I don’t blame them though, the barn doors are rendered useless with the arrays of 600 Leds. Better there than not there I guess.other than that, I love these little things!

Great light and at a very good price
Very bright and also nice soft light. Works great for my YouTube channel kissanalog. Works as a main lighting, very wide lighting and as a general work light. Build quality was surprisingly good.

Great Light, Fantastic Value .
The Yongnuo YN 600 Daylight 55K light is a fantastic value. I've used it mostly for video, and occasionally for stills. It throws a wide soft beam of light. I use a " frost" diffusion gel clipped to the half open barn doors for a beautiful soft box effect.

Not great for videos or photos
Not great for videos or photos. Had 2 of these running on AC, not bright enough even on max LED's just can't handle the demand photo lights can

Perfect light for a run-and-gun shoot.
Purchased the unit after detailed study. This light fits perfectly into a backpack along with the rest of my gear. I love the fact that the light output while using the power adapter is the same as what you get while using 2 batteries. I selected the model without the colour balance dial. Each of the batteries powers alternating lines of LEDs, so if you need full power, use 2 batteries. You cannot charge the batteries on the unit, so you will need to purchase a charger. Like most of the reviews say, the barn doors cast rather ugly shadows, so all they do is protect the LEDs in transit. I have not noticed any flickering or colour casts. The fan does kick in after a while of use, but the sound has not been loud enough to be captured by my field recorder. I just wish that the light came with a system to hold a diffuser umbrella.
