Theory and Practice of Group Counseling

This book is very well put together. It is a good read and there is so much valuable information within it. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore group work. I found that there were some areas that I had interest in that were brushed over in many other books.Great for graduate students and practitioners that are newer to the profession.

It’ll do the job for the semester, but I just want to document the condition the book arrived in so when I go to return it, I have proof that I did not do the damages to the book.

This is a great company to get books from! They came quick and were in like new condition! The books were cheap to rent.

Good overview of counseling theoretically schools as applied to group counseling. As usual, the gulf between the actual psychological theories that share these names and the interpretation and application of them within the guidance/counseling realm is pretty huge. But overall a well-written textbook.

I am renting the book for my college class. This is my first time renting from Amazon instead of the bookstore my college has. Being a rental I didn't expect it to be perfect however, I was not expecting each page to have highlighter all throughout the book. It might seem little to some but it makes the text difficult for me to focus on.

Exactly what I needed for my Group Counseling course! After my school bookstore carried the wrong edition and had trouble bringing the newest edition to shelves, I trusted Amazon to have what I needed. My classes started and on a Tuesday and my order was received Thursday. I enjoy Corey very much and recommend this book to others taking a similar advance course.

To be honest..... I only bought for a class and only used once or twice. Save your money.
