My nine-year-old daughter is American Girl crazy. We read together each night for 30 minutes, and it has been AG books every stinking night for the past few months. She can't get enough of them, and my wife and I can't get enough of her actually picking up a book and reading through it. She needs plenty of help with all of the cooking-specific and French vocabulary in the Grace series, but she gobbles them up (no pun intended).

Got the doll so had to have all the books for my daughter to add to her ever growing collection of American Girl dolls, books, & stuff! Cute cover art & good little story!!

I like this book because I also have a business. It gave some good ideas. It made me smile. I understood Grace so well it was like she was me. I felt bad for her when customers were mad. I felt as if all the obstacles she was facing we were facing together. I feel like it is sometimes hard to find age-appropriate books for tweens beside American Girl. This is definitely a great book. It's a cute story, but it lacks the depth of other American Girl books

This book was SO good the way the story line could just go from one topic to the next and myself being able to figure it out amazing job by Mary Casanova. Definitely worth re-reading,
