looks great, but not lasting in sturdiness
Looks great, but after having a year, it's rather squeaky and sways some when getting in bed. The problem in sturdiness seems to be in the legs. It's being used by an average size 16yo.

Awesome bed!!
Great looking bed shipping was fast.No Dents no scratches no missing pieces. The bed is very sturdy and sits high when used with box spring. I do recommend buying slats for this if you plan on not putting a box spring.

The squeaking will keep you awake
As many people have noted here and all over the internet, this bed begins squeaking at some point. For us it was after about 6 months of use. Tightening the leg screws, the Ikea recommendation, does not solve the problem. It's criminal that Ikea continues to torture people with this crappy product. We are looking for another frame but will never buy from Ikea again.

poor quality
The new style has legs that are separate from the head and foot boards. (The old style was all one piece) The legs are quite flimsy, and bend and break easily. I went through 2 sets before I returned the bed.

Easier to Put Together Than Most Ikea Beds & A Great Price From Ikea
I've purchased several beds from Ikea, including the HEMNES and TRYSIL. This cost me $139.99 from Ikea, at nearly $100 more including delivery, it's roughly how muck Ikea charges for delivery, but Ikea has a flat rate of $99 for delivery, I was able to get thee bed frames and two mattress delivered. So basically, if you need several things from Ikea or you have an Ikea near you, it's more cost-effective to buy from Ikea proper. As for the bed, I love it! This has been one of my favorite Ikea beds for over a decade, but since my current bed is a Cal King, I can't use an Ikea bed frame. I was able to buy this in a full for a guest bedroom and I'm really glad I did! I purchased the Luröy slats for this and so far, it's been no problem what so ever, I have Luröy on all my other beds too and they're very sturdy. If you buy this from Ikea proper, this product is made up of four others, the headboard, the footboard, the sideboards and the slats. I made the mistake of not checking the sideboard and it has been misfiled under full, the sideboards ended up being for a queen/king and it was a major pain to put the bed together, realize we'd made a mistake and exchange them, so double check when you buy.Of all the Ikea beds I've owned, this was the easiest to put together, there are some annoying screws, as with all Ikea furniture that are at strange angles and need you to keep turning them (with the L-shaped screw-driver provided). The screws go into a small enclosed gap so you have to do multiple semi-circles which is a pain, but, after the bed was built, it was worth the pain to me. It's really pretty, fits nicely in my small space and adds a great flair to the room. I'd definitely classify this bed as feminine, and for this girl, it was worth the trouble.

not good
It is a beautiful bed and it fit perfectly with my room but everytime someone sits on it or mores it the slightest bit it will make a loud squeak, the legs are also extremley flimsey and look like they are going to bend and break off. I have taken the bed apart 3 times to see what the deal was with the squeaking but, nothing worked. I don't think I put it together wrong but, I am looking for a new bed now because I can barley sleep with the squeeking.

Its great now that its fixed
The legs are very flimsy, I had to spend $40.00 bucks in materials to repair the legs. We only had it two months as a guest bed with little use and the legs broke. Its great now that its fixed, but you should not have to repair a bed that is only a few months old.
