Be careful to completely remove plastic tab
These cartridges work well and are much more affordable than OEM. But .. the plastic strip tab doesn't always tear off the way it should, and when some of it remains, the cartridge may not print. I went through multiple ink-gobbling cleaning cycles before figuring it out.

Think results are equal to Cannon.
The cost difference is why I tried it. Pleased with results. Only 4 stars because there have been 2 of the large black (C-225) cartridges that did not register as being in machine. But that is out of several purchases over years. Never had a mess--I keep orange cap side up for a while before opening if possible. Blake is only generic I have tried...or will use.

Completely Satisfied
I have been using Blake Printing Supply cartridges (ordered through Amazon) for my Canon Printer for years and have been completely satisfied, both by the extremely reasonable pricing and the quality of their product. Recently I have found that I have been using up all the cartridges at about the same rate, except the small black cartridge which depletes much more slowly and the large black which drains more quickly. However, because Blake Printing offers the large black cartridges to be ordered separately as well as the smaller colored cartridges as a 6 pack (without the small black), I have been able to customize my ordering to match my usage. I might also add that their customer service is both available and very useful.

but I have tried to use 3rd party ink from other vendors in an Epson WF and it sucked..
Ink has never given me a problem. I have a Canon iX6520 printer, maybe it's Canon who is the hero for not being intrusive about using 3rd party ink, but I have tried to use 3rd party ink from other vendors in an Epson WF and it sucked...I received a lot of error messages and messages about how the printer was going to be ruined if I didn't use Epson ink...admittedly though, the 3rd party ink I used for the Epson was NOT from Blake. The ink from Blake is very nice and produces a very nice quality print (at least for my portraits). Love the Canon iX6520 and the Blake Ink!

GREAT value, works well, can be VERY messy during installation
so much cheaper than other options and seem to work very well once installed but holy moly are these things messy to install at times. upon opening they can leak like a sieve and the ink is pretty stubborn to remove from skin. DO NOT get it on anything. luckily some dripped on my drop down printer door and not on the floor. so, much care must be taken, at least in my experience, when opening these things to prep for installation.

Looks great....almost OEM.
Sooooooo. I needed new ink, but I didn’t realize that this ink set didn’t include black or grey. Now I have extra ink lol. I’ll update the review once I use them. The ink set looks well put together and the build is similar to OEM cartridges for a fraction of the cost. I can’t complain. I haven’t checked compatibility during use yet.

Everyday use
These cartridges are good for everyday use. Occasionally I have a problem with a cartridge drying up and not flowing correctly. The cost is so much less than Canon brand cartridges that I am willing to accept the very minimal annoyance. So I replace the problem cartridge and go on printing. The drying up cartridge usually happens if I haven't used the printer much in awhile.

Not perfect ink, but good customer service
Update from my original review. The first cartridge I loaded (yellow) had a serious issue and gave me the color issues in the attached photo. I was extremely frustrated. Blake printing responded quickly to my email and gave me suggestions to fix the issue. Three tries and a bunch of wasted ink later and I was no further ahead. Seem the yellow I tried was a bad cartridge. I loaded a 2nd one and after doing a "deep clean" on the print heads it seems to be decent yellow. Not sure I;ll buy again, perhaps I had bad luck, or perhaps the ink is inconsistent?

Highly Recommend
This ink is almost as good as original Canon inks. Lasts about 85% as long as Canon, but costs less than a quarter of the price. This is my third order from Zulu Inks. They're great - shipments arrive very promptly... I highly recommend—and I'm very fussy about quality and service.

Not much to say other than this product is very much comparable with Canon's ink products for my MG5220 printer and delivery of this product was timely. The only negative, if there is one, is the tanks don't seem to last as long as Canon's originals but for that price I believe I come out ahead.

These did not consistently work with my Canon printer. They often caused blockages and I would lose a colour completely.
